I'm not moaning or hating on it, just stating a few reasons why it won't work. Or at least, why it won't work for me.

So what...its optional. And the way Microsoft shoved Kinect in our faces during their press conference they obviously paid EA for this and that might even have raised the budget. Hell It might be the reason for the delay...and Im thanking Microsoft big time for this if thats the case! While a a tiny group of the team is working on the Kinect stuff, the entire rest of the Team can keep polishing the product! So I hardly believe vital ressources have been lost.
And come on folks...why even start worrying about the ressources for this game?! Seriously...next to Fifa and Battlefield this is EAs only big Baby. They sure gonna pump a lot of cash in this one.

Actually, Kinect is surprisingly very accurate and it's really easy to use. It understands people well. I have one, I got it the second day it came out. I'm a sucker for all of this new electronic stuff, though. I'm looking forward to using it on Mass Effect, not having to open the radical wheel every time I want to use a power will both increase my use of powers and ease of gameplay. I have no doubts that Kinect is going to be able to thoroughly understand my commands at all times.

I think (at least for me) aside from having paper thin walls in my apartment that requires me to be quiet, I have very little room in my room for kinect. I had to clear out a lot of stuff just to make that video.

They're using kinetic in medical technology of all things, so as a product it seems to be relatively good.

I am not saying anything bad about kinect itself, just questioning the use of it in this way.

God I hate to bump up old news, but I thought I should state that I have now purchased a kinect and do not plan on using it with Mass Effect 3 due only to circumstance, not a problem with how it works or what it does.
