I don't know, they are Cerberus personnel, Shepard would have to pick them up at some point after leaving Earth.

Ken and Gabby should be, because, as I recall, Ken left the Alliance because of the way they disrespected Shepard after his/her death by denying the Reaper threat. Then again, the Normandy was taken and refitted by the Alliance, so.... I dunno.

The thing is, Joker technically left the Alliance for Cerberus and he's the pilot - and Chakwas will be there if she was saved from the Collector ship and made it back to the Normandy, I would imagine.

Wasn't Kenneth almost court-martialed for his adamant defense of Shepard? I can easily imagine him attending the trial; he'd be one hell of a witness!

Even if he did, Shepard flees from the trial, Kenneth would have to be with them to get on the Normandy. I couldn't imagine why the Normandy would get people who were at the trial and Shepard would not get on board at that point. So I can only imagine he is not there, also working for Cerberus probably doesn't make him the best witness lol.

I don't even know how Joker is going to get on there, he is also a Cerberus agent, but I guess the Alliance could forgive and forget because he's their best pilot. Kenneth is great at what he does, they let him be insubordinate, but I think they would draw the line at treason for a mere engineer.

If there was an option to slap Kelly for femshep I wouldn't have regretted using it.

Old post to be replying to, but I thought I'd make a correction here: Canadian trying to imitate a Scottish accent. Though I suppose "American" can be arbitrarily slapped onto anyone from North America, Central America and South America. Still, specificity!

Ah well, I guess him being a romance would have ruined the Gabby/Kenneth friendship to a degree. They wouldn't have seemed so close. Although they seem more like brother and sister to me than..

 Ah, man, I miss those people. I can't believe I couldn't save them [on my first/main playthrough].  I'm more curious about what the crew will be like without them. Will they have Alliance replacements or will the squad members remain a sort of 'skeleton crew' with EDI doing most of the work? I'm guessing the former is way more likely, especially now that the Alliance is in control. I hope the new crewmemebers are ok, and I hope the option for the original crew to return is present for those who didn't screw things up.
