Although if we get them again can Bioware PLEASE get someone better to VA Kenneth? Someone who can actually do a convincing Scottish accent?
The first time I spoke to him I actually flinched at how bad the accent was.
I know that people think thats the way Scottish people sound from Scotty from Star Trek but let me tell you people that Scotty's Scottish accent is almost as bad as Chekov's Russian accent (which is just plain wrong).
Yeh its close enough that you get its "supposed" to be a Scottish accent but to a native like myself it sounds like an american/canadian comedian faking a Scots accent on stage for a joke or sketch.
Although Bioware VAs havent done a fantastic job with accents in the last few games I have to say (example half the Dalish Elves in DA2 having a bad Irish accent instead of sounding Welsh).
Isnt there supposed to be a lot of Scottish expatriots in Canada and America? Is it really that hard to find someone who can act/voice act who has a scottish accent or can do a decent scottish accent?
I liked Kenneth and Gabby as characters but I dont want to hear his bad accent again.

Bioware has pointed out that a lot of the "fake" accents were real accents, they hired natives for many of them. Don't know if Ken was one of them. Remember, in England, accents can differ when you go 20 miles.

Kenneth is played by the same guy as Fenris in DA2, and he's a Brit!

I am from Scotland, and his accent isn't really that bad, I suppose. It definitely could have been a LOT worse.
As for Gabby, I have no clue whatsoever.
EDIT: Gideon Emery voiced Kenn, the Quarian from Omega, not Kenneth.

As for Gabby's accent - the original thread on it had everything from Brooklyn to Russian lol. It'd be nice to get some closure on that point.

Gideon Emery, British, voiced Fenris (from DA2) and Kenn (from Kenn's Salvage shop on Omega)
John Ullyatt, Canadian, voiced Kenneth Donnelly and various others.
And yeah, I read somewhere about Kenneth being an LI in the early stages, too. I'm kinda glad they took that out, though.

I think it would have been weird for Femshep romancing a guy who spends all day swapping flirtatiously tense banter with his female best friend.

They better not be imprisoned. They're big damn heroes. They nearly got liquified for humanity while the Alliance have been sitting on their collective asses. Lazarus cell deserves medals. And a place with a high probability of safety, to give them a chance to survive the invasion.
Of course, if they want to join again, they're absolutely welcome.

Kenneth was originally a 'casual' romance option, kind of like the male equivalent of Kelly - only without the rampant libido
My femsheps would have gladly romanced him. The reactions from Gabby would have been interesting.

Firstly Scotland is not England.
England is a much larger country that exists south of Scotland.
Secondly I am a native of Scotland and I know what a Scottish accent sounds like; and while Kenneth's accent could have been a LOT worse (like the Dalish Elves sounding Irish instead of Welsh) it isnt great.
You get its supposed to be Scottish but it sounds like a fake comedic scottish accent for the purposes of lampooning or fun, not a serious accent.

I actually think the old crew have been through enough. They're doubtless damaged. I'm not saying discard them for someone who hasn't been broken yet, nor am I implying that they might've been indoctrinated, but getting an entirely new crew might not be a bad idea. Shepard will be facing even worse horrors in the upcoming war. And Lazarus cell has already done everything they could. It would be selfish to ask for more.

Actually, I think after ME2, they'd be more battle-hardened than 'broken.' Gabby and Ken saw the horror of the Battle of the Citadel and it only made their resolve stronger. Surviving a brush with death against the Collectors would make them want to see this war through to the end.
And it would be redunant for Bioware to make them a survivable ME3 import just to have them written out by imprisonment.

I'm all for the duo returning along with Adams. They were rather fun to be around. Hope they realize that they're "two of a kind" should they be in the third game.
I'm not a fan of the plot armour Adams has been given so far.
It's so blatant that he's Biowares favourite.

If the Normandy had to have a Scotsman on board I would have prefered they created a younger Sean Connery type myself.

But then my Shepard would have never left the engine room and the collectors would have won.
And that poker game would have been "strip poker"!
