UI suggestion about ammo powers

From what we´ve seen so far of ME3, the ammo powers look still the same and each one come in a differnet colour that seems to be consistent too (ex. orange for incendiary ammo). My query is about how when in ME2 (and ME3 too as far as have been showed) when Shepard activates an ammo power, a the icon of the ammo power appears as well on the weapon. Therefore, there are two visual clues that you have the ammo power on: the color, and the icon.

This is one screen of ME3 where you can see the incendiary ammo icon

I value graphics as much as anyone else, and  i believe that this ammo icon that is floating around your weapon is unnecessary and look out of place. The color clue is more than enough to see which kind of ammo shepard has active. If not i suggest to bioware to at least make the ammo icon to appear in a least disruptive way (integrated on the own weapon, perhaps?), instead of just floating there, which appears even in cutscenes.

Thank you for your time.

It's been mentioned a few times already. Don't know/can't remember if the devs have mentioned anything about its presentation, but don't expect it to change. Does look funny though when you holster a weapon and its glowing blue in cutscenes.

It's so Shepard, and the player can see what ammo power they have equipped without pulling up the wheel and breaking the action.

I wasn´t talking about the glow of the weapon, i am fine with that as it is a visual clue of what kind of ammo the weapon has at the moment. I agree abot the cutscenes though, the weapon glow do look out of place there.

I understand, still i personally never have had any problem seeing which kind of ammo i have, for two reasons:
-When you put your ammo on, you usually do it outside of combat, you can easily pause the game and see if you want. But i must say that even without pausing, merely by aiming sligthly to one side or covering behind a wall you see which ammo you have.
-You usually have two or three at most ammo powers, you have power icons that you click (keybind or click) for setting your powers. If the player can´t see which power (ammo in this case) he/she has used (ignoring all the other visual clues like shepard animation, global cooldown etc.), then i would recommend glasses.
