*sigh* These guys aren't freedom fighters. They are people that cause millions worth of damage that affects the average joe, a person who is only linked to Sony or whoever for buying a product. I don't know why people support this stuff :/
I hope that wasn't aimed at me. Just because I like them doesn't mean I support them.

It wasn't aimed at you. I was firing it into the dark. Think of it as an inb4GoAnonStickItToTheMan!

They're really stealing user data in order to force Bethesda to release more info on Skyrim? Pathetic.

Apparently, hackers don't like gaming sites.

They're probably trying very hard to hack every publisher website, especially systems that contain credit card info like Steam, Origin, D2D, OnLive etc.

I said Blizzard forums, not WoW forums. But I dare the hackers to try and attack a juggenaught like Blizzard, if that happened we would see some damn fun entertainment of Blizzard crapping all over the hacktivist group.

Funny, my old realm forum was one of the most civilized forums I've seen.
Was mainly populated by scandinavian lads, so no wonder.

I don't really know what the hackers intend to do but it is stupid to be asked for so much personal info.

You are all missing the point. These poeple shouldn't ask us for so much personal information. If they store so much info that it could harm us then it is not really the hackers fault. It is a question of time before they start selling it (especially facebook and google). I don't care for some game';s sites, but it is plain stupid people like EA, Sony or other publishers to have my personal information. Why don't they delete it? Why do they need to store it in the first place?

To buy a car, you need personal information. To buy something with a credit card, you need personal information. If you buy a game using a credit card, lets say.. WoW. They need your information to re-up you every month. Its imperative that they have your personal information, or someone named Bob Smith could be stealing your money and playing WoW because they weren't validifying you are who you are.
I don't see what the problem is...
