^ the markings themselves look good Axis...its just that so many of us are used to seeing Liara in a certain way that to change her markings is to change who Liara is. We love her "eyebrow" markings because it reminds us of who she is compared to other Asari:) But your ideas are welcome too.

Is there a problem with them in general or is it just the colors? I might attempt a similar facial mod. 

She just doesn't look as Liara anymore and that's why I don't like it. The original look is what I love about her.

Yes. If I  recall correctly, the original was used to recruit woman to work to help the war effort.

I have to be honest, when I FIRST played ME1, I didn't really like Liara much at first. She felt kinda stilted and devoid of emotion, but over the course of the series I have really grown to like her. The way her character developed was really cool to see, from naive researcher to smart ass, slightly bad ass Shadow Broker. Great characterisation!

I wouldn´t exactly say that I "love" Tali, but I do like her very much. 

But liking Tali does not easily translate to liking her more.... devoted fanbase (you know; the ones who apparentely worship Tali in a manner that almost make them hate other characters like Liara).

You guys should check it out, I thought that Liara would most likely be the love interest for Male Shepard in the upcoming movie because of her integral role in the game. I wrote down my two cents on the topic!

Yay! Liara love interest for Commander John Shepard in the upcoming movie. That's what I want to hear. Man I would love the Mass Effect movie to come out the same year that the next Star Trek movie and the Man of Steel (new Superman movie) comes out which is next year. All 3 my favorites (Star Trek, Superman and Mass Effect) out in the same year. That would be so awesome!

Anyway, I haven´t been to the Miri thread what do they fight about, if I may be so blunt??
It would be awesome if Liara was to be Shep´s LI in the movie. But for some reason I suspect that they will probably make a completely new character to fill that role. You know as not to offend the fans (not everyone likes Liara). Although that is perhaps being too optimistic considering how easily Hollywood screws over great videogames

Some people are being taking Miranda's "small" role too hard, also I remember where they were fighting about which was the right ending. There was another one where jtav says that Miranda is portrayed as the vixen or femme fatale who who steals Shepard from his true love which is Liara (something like that) Because if you pursued both of them and dumped Miranda, I heard she dies regardless of anything you do.

Also, if they will create a new love interest for the movie they might as well just make it entirely original. They did say that it is based on the first game and will stay true to that.

Well I read articles that Bioware is involved in making the movie, to avoid those incidents where movie adaptations of movies turn sour like Tekken and Silent Hill?

I'm more worried they'll completely mess up Liara's character, or make her look like a bond girl or something. Whatever they'll do to her in the movie, I doubt it'll do her character any justice.

I really can't think of anyone who can possibly play Liara without the voice of Ali Hillis. Same goes for Shepard, I just can't imagine it without Mark Meer.

yes, proper voice will be the biggest problem. I also can't imagine anyone except Ali.
Even reading all those fanfictions and comics here I always read those parts in Ali Hillis voice in my mind

One more reason why I'll probably never watch that movie. It's just not the same... And if I wanted to experience the ME1 story again, I'd just fire up the game. Not that it really matters... you know with that ME3 ending and all..

They could allways do CGI performance capture and use Alli's voice the techs there to do it fine. think Golum/Avatar tech.
