Development time isn't the only important thing when developing a game. DA2 had 2 yrs of development time and most people agree that it didn't help the quality of the game at all.Ericzio wrote...
All they care about is money, they don't care if the game is made correctly they just want it out as fast as possible. Remember the release date for ME3 in the beginning? This is why most rejoice for the delay instead of infuriate with rage. Game developers need to take at least 2-4 years when making a game to be honest, I know that sounds stupid but it is definitely worth the wait.

She is only character other than Adept shepard who can produce a microsingularity.
She definately seem stronger than the average Biotic .
Stronger than Jack, slightly weaker than Samara, equal to Vasir.
Despite being 108 yrs old only. I wonder is it because she is the daughter of two matriarchs.

5. Shepard.
4. Vasir.
3. Liara/Aria.
2. Samara.
1. Jack.
Samara is all about precision and skill. Jack is all about unadulterated power. At least that's the impression I got.

Purgatory guard: Boss! What does the scouter say about her Power Level!?
Warden Kuril: It's over 9000!!
Alright I guess you get the idea. I'd like to believe every biotic is unique. Some people focus on raw power like Jack. Others honed their skills to be more lethal like Samara. Aria and Vasir seem to be combo's.
Anyway, in my book there's no way Jack would be able to beat Samara. Sure she has a lot of power but that won't beat Samara's experience. In terms of skill, Vasir (should) beat Samara because the spectres are supposed to be the best of every race. While Liara is a stong Biotic, Samara would wipe her out if they fought. Does that make Jack number 1 due to power? Or Samara due to experience and combat skill, or Vasir due to a combo of raw power and skill? Like I said, comparing biotics is nearly impossible.

Even though bashing EA on these forums won't help a bit, I have to agree. The only good thing about EA is that without them BioWare would never have enough resources to build their new Star Wars MMO (which I'm kind of exited about). I wasn't too happy when EA took over and this got a lot worse when they demanded DA2 to be developed in only 16 months. To truly get an awesome game, they should've taken at least 2,5 - 3 years. And that's only because they didn't have to redo stuff like character design and lore. I personally did like DA2 even though it obviously had it's flaws. As long as they don't pull a stunt like that again (16 months dev time), I'll continue to buy BW products.
Naturally if ME4 becomes a pure shooter I will not bother buying it. I hate pure shooters<_<

Ugh, I don't think you can accurately compared biotic powers. Would be funny if it were displayed in numbers though.

I always thought that Samara is very powerful, more then the other Squadis.
She has the training, experience and most importantly selfcontrol.
But It's hard to argue about biotic power without any data.
Liara is very good with her biotics but I think her brain is the biggest weapon she carries.

I suppose we will never get a clear answer on who is the strongest. But I will still claim Samara and Morinth are currently the strongest biotics in the game. Jack is a freak experiment but in the end human and proberly will never be able to achieve the same ammount of power that an Asari could have.
In terms of (potential) biotic power I would say that Liara might possibly be stronger than Samara. But Morinth will ultimatively be the strongest should she survive long enough and get enough victims.

I agree.
We know from one of the novels that Singularity is among the most advanced of all biotic techniques. It's almost impossible to form a singularity unless the user is enormously powerful...and Liara is the only squadmate who can use it

Aethyta says she'll slap Conrad's ass with a singularity if he doesn't stop his act. Gives the impression that singularity isn't such a big deal as that novel made it out to be. Though Aethyta is very good at trash talk, I had no doubt she'd do it.

To be fair. I would put Liara being the only squadmate who can conjour a singularity as simply "Gameplay vs story segregation". Samara seems to be a naturaly strong biotic. Couple that with hardcore training (which would easily surpass anything Liara have recieved yet) and her age (Asari seems to be stronger biotics the older they are) and experience and I would say she easily also could create a singularity from a story perspective.

I wonder how Dominate is supposed to work though.

I know alot of people disagree with my viewpoint on this but my theory on dominate and reave are that they are not biotic abilities. Dominate reflects Morinth's state as an Ardat Yakshi and represents her mind-controlling abilities. Reave represent that Samara is a AY gene-carrier.
The only reason that they are classified as biotic abilities (from gameplay) is simply that if they were not. They would not recieve bonuses from the research upgrades and would be designed to be either underpowered or overpowered.
