Why didn't Liara just go directly to Shep for help finding her missing agents? Why make Shep go talk to Barla Von (was that his name?) first? I can see she might not want to talk about being the SB on the Citadel (although a lot of people seem to know about her being the SB anyway) but she had plenty of chance back on the Normandy.

Never been good at guessing. But if I remember correctly, it takes roughly 8 hours to reach Illium when playing on Veteran and going to through most dialog. So if you rush through perhaps you could cut an hour or two?

You need to complete 2 (maybe 3?) recruitment missions to unlock Illium, if you are playing in casual, maybe 3/4 hours? faster if you skip dialogue

I don't know.

I figured it's b/c Shepard always refuses to take payment from Liara for completing missions so...Liara sent her to Barla Von knowing Shepard would have to accept it?

*my Shepard gave the money back to Liara though...she snuck it in a Valentine's Day card*

The question is now, if Liara gets asari commandos, what does Aethyta's grandaughter get? I vote for a Claymore.

That would rule so much.  Liara might have gotten the commandos, but the War Asset says it was from a Matraich friend of Shepard.  I think it should have said they came from Liara.  Because Aethyta gave them to Liara and Liara put them to work helping with the Reapers.

I vote for the shotty too.  Nothing nicer than the krogan shotgun.  After all any daughter of Liara would be part krogan.

NO! I miss Liara's father sidequest, damn! 

You have to talk to Liara first.  She tells you to talk to the volus.  Talk to the volus then leave the commons.  Return and Aethyta should be on the left corner of the Apollo Cafe.  Talk to Aethyta then to Liara again.  She is still sitting at the table.  You must do this before the coup because Aethyta is gone after the coup.

Damn I just talked to the volus and then nothing, I didn't seen Aethyta ....well I'll do this in my next playtrought, thanks!

Welcome.  I also think you need to make sure you did Conrad's mission in ME2.  I can not confirm that.  Here is a vid of the whole scene with my canon femShep Leia doing both interrupts.

EDIT: I already have planned on not visiting Ash on the run I am working on now.  Headed to Citadel now to take care of some business and I won't be visiting her.  

Perfect for me is this.  I always took Liara with me everywhere in ME1, so she helped kill Saren.  Then Liara is there when Shepard takes out Vasir.  Now, Liara will be with me when I take out Ash.

3 games, 3 dead Spectres.    Being a Spectre and ticking off Shepard does not bode well for the other Spectre.

Ehh. Seems pretty damn dumb to do it. You will also miss out on Kaidan's dialog, which is a shame because his conversations are pretty great.

Kaidan is more of a stand up type of guy.  I can not say that about Ash.  She annoyed me more in ME3 than she did in ME1.  If that is possible.  Ash at times in ME3 is a hot mess. 

Which makes glad Liara is the LI for most of my Shepards.  That romance seems to be the most fulling in the series.

Never liked the guy, he didn't survive Virmire on a single one of my 8 or 9 ME1/2 playthroughs before ME3 released.

Then I found out the only way to unlock Reave in ME3 was from best buds conv with Kaidan.

*sigh*

Just finished Feros, Noveria/Virmire/Ilos and all of ME2 to go......
