Liara is very good hiding her emotions, controling herself. That's the impression I've got since ME1: she'll say things like that even when she's crushed.

She seemed to me, during ME3, that she was trying to tell herself "don't get your hopes up, its been a while, Shepard may have moved on, she/he has lots of thing in mind and its not to be burden with silly romances..."

Agreed. Every time I bring it up someone is like "you can mind sex everywhere!" And I'm like "No! They have to contaminate everything with their animalistic fornication." And then I get ignored.

Thessia, when she saves you from falling to the endless pit that aparently was below the temple, guess it was built by the same ones who built the grial temple in The Last Crusade

 Now I remember one of the best moments in ME2 for my Shepard.

She remained faithful to Liara during ME2 so on Illium when she's talking to that asari who has a krogan boyfriend I loved femShep's reaction:



That whole thing about sticking for a century then move on with humans rubbed my femShep the wrong way.

Well, I still got the impression that she still has feelings for Shepard. IMO, regardless of whether you romanced Liara or not... those scenes particularly the ones with her project and the gift suggest that she has feelings for Shepard.

The other asari are totally jealous (at least, I pretend they are in my headcanon).  Shepard is a prize b/c:

1)  She's awesome and saved the day.
2)  Kinda looks like an asari.
3)  But totally isn't so Liara can get away with hooking up with her.

I think I'll headcanon that too. And of course Liara is someone to be proud of having as wife... I mean: one of the best biotics? Intelligent as hell? She's the BAMF Shadow Broker?

So assume you get a happy ending, well as happy as it can be, Liara lives and Shepard lives. Does Liara continue being the Shadow Broker? I honestly can't imagine either of them letting such a full time workload getting in between them after surviving the reapers, and after those little blue children come around, well I don't think even Liara has time management skills that good.

So what happens to the Broker's vacated post? Does she pass it to Feron, or do you have someone else in mind?

I think alot of Liara's affection for Shepard has to do with Shepard's connection to the Protheans.  Over time her feeling grew.  Now if Shepard has any feeling for Liara is up to the player.

Even if you don't romance Liara in ME1, she still couldn't let you go. 

I suppose that twitter pic Ali Hillis posted last year, late summer I think, that said Shepard! in bold, was the Thessia scene when Shep almost falls again.  She was such a tease with some of her tweets and pics from her recording sessions.

So far in my fics, Liara is still the Shadow Broker.  But working out in the open as an information broker.  They feel she's done enough good with her work as the Shadow Broker that everyone should be safe.

I think Liara will work a bit less, putting more things on Glyph's and/or Feron's hands. Maybe getting someone she trusts to work for her. She liked the benefits of being a Broker, though, so I asume she'll stay that way until those blue children come around (after that she'll get a less dangerous job).

But being a shadow broker in a universe that is trying to rebuild itself will me hard. Liara will probably focus her effords helping people.

And I must agree on that. It's simply not a sacred surface (as defined by the Cult of Liarard [don't ask], such a surface as the two Chosen had engaged in energetic copulation in a physical manner) if there's no trace of it.

And the rest are still rather.... shy? I mean, we're talking like Aethyta here... the rest of the tread seems to be made up of Liara's. We need backup!
