btw here are class specific lines in the Liara's project scene, copied verbatim in case anyone is curious and hasn't heard them all yet.

The commander was a powerful biotic and a skilled technician, a deadly combination in a fight. (Sentinel)

Shepard could handle any weapon in the galaxy. The Alliance never saw a deadlier soldier. (Soldier)

Shepard was an extremely talented biotic, and one of the most powerful fighters in the Alliance. (Adept)

The commander was also a powerful biotic, nearly unstoppable when he/she charged into a fight. (Vanguard)

The commander was also a skilled engineer-the best the Alliance ever offered in battle, in fact. (Engineer)

Shepard was also a deadly tactical fighter. Most enemies never saw him/her coming. (Infiltrator)

I swear that is such a sweet scene, that caught me off guard. Like I think she was the only one who went out of her way to spend that kind of time with Shepard. Plus, I find it cute how she e-mails Shepard like she was so giddy to share her project with him.

I just find it annoying that she calls Shepard a friend here and in the Presidium Commons. Come on, Derek slept with her twice already and reaffirmed the relationship (loyal PT). What gives??

I think the Persidium Commons talk that locks in the romance went the way it did for those that romanced Liara only in ME3.  The lines are different for those that romanced Liara in ME1.

Also think about this.  There are in a middle of a war.  Liara might feel that Shepard might not want to continue their relationship to worry about the fight.  And this is her first serious relationship.  She never thought about melding with anyone until Shepard.  I think that has something to do with it.  Plus it's what the writers gave us.

Liara also said "Shepard tried to make peace where he could."

Does that change depending on whether you play Paragon or Renegade?

Renegade she says while she didn't always agree, but respected Shepard anyway.  Or something along those lines.  That's not the exact quote, but close to it.

So true Sunnie. My Shep wants to snuggle with her Liara, relax, cuddle, maybe raise a few blue babies. *nods* Sex is fun but she wants to be with Liara more than just for the physical part. It's emotional, it's that connection on a deeper fundamental level.

They should totally have the snuggle thing like they did in ME2.

My Shepard totally likes to cuddle up in a ball next to Liara and rest her head on Liara's lap while Liara reads stuff.

Oh... yes I like that idea jib.

Mine likes to have Liara hold her while they watch some extranet shows and relax.

It makes sense. Sure I would've liked to import my Shepard and lock the romance right on Mars, to go from there with a relationship full of love... But that's a bit crazy if you think how much work would it be for the developers. So its understandable we have to wait a bit.

Meh, I think the Paragon one sounds better. Thanks though.

And I also wish the cuddling thing was back. It was such a useless feature, but now that the good romances are back, it's disappointing that it isn't there.

I want to be Liara's human pillow damnit...

For the time capsule scene?

Liara says:  "She was a leader who knew when to be persuasive and when to apply pressure."

For a Renegade.

You know they are in a relationship on Mars by the way they interact with each other.

I will say this.  If you romanced Liara in ME1 and didn't do the LotSB DLC, the end cabin scene is different.  Shepard says I love you first instead of Liara saying it if you did the DLC.  And it's completely different in a new romance.

I have no idea what is said when you cheat on Liara and stay with her.  I can't do that import.

But I have done runs with ME1 romance no DLC
ME1 romance with DLC
No romance until ME3

Hmm, yeah I guess if you look at it that way. I just hoped that there would have been a difference if you locked in the romance immediately after Mars.

That is not what I got with my broShep who is with Ash. I got what I posted, but it isn't the exact lines, but she did say she didn't always agree, but respected him.

Maybe it's different if you are in a romance with her.  Not sure.  I haven't done the cabin scene with the broShep I am using now.  Another renegade with Tali until Tali gets on ship then she's getting dumped for Liara.

Uhm, Shepard says I love you first if you cheated on her and then chose her afterwards. Okay, I'm expecting a lot of crap for going this path  but in my narrative, I really thought that Liara and Derek's love was just a naive romance but LotSB proved otherwise.

Also, I think she says you mean so much to me if it's a new romance.

The romance doesn't lock in until the talk on the Citadel.  Because if it was locked, Kaidan would not have told my canon femShep he has feeling for her.  After she picked Liara over him in ME1.

Talk to Kaidan before Liara and he hits on Shep.  Talk to Liara then Kaidan and he says Shep is his friend and Shep teases him some.  The friendship talk is much better to me than him hitting on a Shep that already told him I want Liara.

I have vids for all three dialogues from the last cabin scene.  I don't have a cheater Shepard scenes, but from my understanding those lines are different as well.

No, I think you misunderstood what I was saying.  Shepard saying I love you first is from a ME1 romance without the SB DLC included.  Shepard was faithful to Liara, but that run I picked the file from Jan 2010 that had zero DLC in it.  Then I went to my canon run with everything included.

The apply pressure one is more so a paragade line - if your roughly 50/50 on the reputation scale.  One of javiks lines is influenced by this as well - i think, i found.
renegade is the doesnt agree, always respects
Paragon is the make peace.

Thats very interesting. Sounds almost like Liara is waiting for a sign on Shep's part to open up, but with thingss from LOTSB, she was reasured and more open to dive into it.

Or maybe I'm just reading too much into this.

I liked how Liara said 'I love you" then, in London, she said it again. It melt my heart <3

I know, but after doing Ash's romance.  I'm a little annoyed Shep didn't tell Liara I love you in London like Shep does for Ash when she says it.  <_<  I have not done my Kaidan romance run yet.  She cheated on him with Jacob and now Jacob has a baby momma.  <_<  So I don't know if Kaidan says it twice in game like Ash and Liara do.

"She was a leader who knew when to be persuasive and when to apply pressure" is what I got in my very first playthrough with my femshep that romanced Liara. At the time my alignment was pretty much exactly 50/50. I know I started to edge into paragon around the halfway point since the Shepard VI started giving me paragon lines instead of renegade. HOWEVER in my second playthrough with the same femshep I'm making sure majority is in renegade. "I didn't always agree with her decisions, but I respected them" is what I got this time. I got the "soldier and a leader that made peace when he/she could" with my paragon maleshep that romanced Ashley.

I'm guessing the first is exclusive to paragades?

Apparently not, I remember reaffirming my relationship with Miranda at the beginning but I locked Liara's at the Presidium Commons and did not bother to talk to Miranda. So I definitely have been bad! :? but I guess Liara really loves Shepard and lets it go unlike Miranda who cries, walks away and let's herself die.:crying:
