  With a fully upgrade Energy Drain and a half-decent pistol (Phalanx, for now), he's devastating.  I sprint everywhere and am far more aggressive than I ever am in SP.  If I ever manage to open up a Carnifex in one of my packs, he's gonna be devastating.  It's almost not even fun to play against geth, since they go down so quick.

I've got a Carnifex VI atm, and for some reason I find it a lot easier to consistently pop heads with an unscoped pistol than a Sniper Rifle. Before playing SE, I was playing a squishy asari adept with not fitness points and dying left and right. But SE has better shields and the almighty decoy, which lets you faceroll geth even on gold.

Put a scope mod on that Carnifex and its even more deadly.

well the not only me this poprock heroic-sounding tune and these lyrics.. having no fear in the face of total darkness because of being close.

I'm pretty sure that anyone's definition of "what a class is supposed to do" is quite subjective and nothing more that preferential opinion due to that players style. I believe you make the class what ever you can that's the most fun for you and the most benefit for the end goal, which is surviving the mission and getting your EXP and Credits. It's seems nothing more than elitist rhetoric to tag any Vanguard using a semi auto sniper rifle as an issue, since the premise for the hate is that they are getting too many kills...? Shep's openly jealous of her, because she has to watch her diet, being an Alliance soldier, but Liara gets free rein over what she eats, and doesn't even pack it on. Or, if she does, it goes to the right places.

hahah maybe shep likes chocolate, but you've mistaken the pic lol. this pic is because of the Godly Chocolate Armor Moreeman06 and mostly I wished Liara could wear in ME3, you just take a look on one of my sigs hahahahahha:P:P:P

EDIT: ya know, just having some fun with you I usually posted that pic while on my "war" with more about which armor was better, the one of the From Ashes DLC or the Godly Chocolate Armor (represented in that pic) haha but I agree with you in that shep LOVES chocolate, that's sure!
