The reason why I suspect it'll be about the Beacon and her life growing up is because the series is called Homeworld. And some of the details they cover in the comics are in ME3. Like Tali talking about the her treatment on the Citadel, and recognizing someone. (Her issue involves her time after leaving the fleet, and her visit on the Citadel).

Right? What's that about? Even if they weren't LIs there still should be more support than this! Someone didn't think this through.

Agreed! I kept waiting for the option or for an interrupt to hug her, but nothing.

Heck, even as just friends Shep should hug her after Thessia.
He did it after dealing with the Shadow Broker, but not after her world gets wasted?

Yeah I wished that Shep would have given Liara a big hug in that scene. It would have made it more emotional and heart warming.

Not sure, but the first issue is coming out in a couple of weeks and is going to be about Vega, the second issue comes out in May 30th and will be about Tali....so if Liara is the third issue it might be in June?

The Dark Horse page doesn't say. I know it ain't about his time with the Collectors, because that story is in the cartoon.

As for the beacon, maybe some shady cover ups? Something like that I imagine is the kind of secret that puts your life at risk. And Liara believes her mother knew about it.

That comic would be more Benezia focused than Liara focused.

It's a hard thing to incorporate into the story since the main character (Liara) doesn't know about it.

I agree, I imagine a Liara focused Comic to be about her time as a lone arqueologist, she did mentioned she had to fight off pirates and smugglers, might also explain where she learned to fight

Possibly.

If I were to guess, I'd say it dealt with the time Liara left to become an archaeologist and would feature dialog between Liara/Benezia.  The comic may show us the beacon (from Benezia's perspective) but it won't be a huge plot point.

As for action...I don't know...the comic could then jump a bit in the future and show the pirate/dig site stuff.
 
Or an assassination attempt...I don't know, do matriarchs get assassinated often?  And by who?

I've wanted to write something more about Benezia but I never got to it.

I seriously will fly to France and take care of children, paint houses, mow lawns, whatever if it would help the author continue writing that story!
