Nooooooooooo.
I think I'm going to play the MP until I unlock a Black Widow. This is so depressing.
Once I get home I'll MP the hell out of my characters...
I was lucky to unlock a black widow on my first Specter Pack...
Damn asari... you just don't get lucky do you?
BTW does anyone knows if on Thessia, if you're a quick enough to kill the harvester and those mobs, you can save the asari in the helicopter??
I don't know for sure but I'm pretty sure she dies no matter what, we've been establishing that BW has a little love/hate thing for the Asari. Maybe its because the Asari don't like Liara? or maybe its because everyone we ever met had to die. Also does anyone now if the human couple with the little kid died on the citadel or if they're safe
What about the refund guy. He's another one that has been there in all three games. Same as the human couple. She was pregnant in ME1. Nice little touches I must say on BW part.

I approve. Good story, although there are several grammar and spelling errors, it would read better if those were fixed. There were parts I didn't get, probably because it was heavy on headcanon, so I can't really say anything about those.
Oh, and it's Kaidan, not Kaiden. <_<

1. I'd imagine that the geth would refer to Liara as "Dr. T'soni" instead of bondmate. Maybe replace "Shepard-Liberator and her familial unit’s" with just "your"? They never just seemed to use long sentences. Anyways, it's fine.Tyranniac wrote...

2. Didn't have before your story, but now the idea is stuck on me. Your idea makes sense as the derelict reaper in ME2 had been floating there for 37 million years but still had power to indoctrinate nearby organics. Now there's who knows how many derelict reapers around the earth. Unless they shut down completely, but who knows.
3. Didn't really think about that, didn't matter what planet, aslong as they're safe and happy and there's nature nearby. Jennifer needs to have something to dig and somewhere to run around.
Hmh... yeah, Dr. T'Soni would probably work better.
About Earth, that thought about the powers still present in dead Reapers really stuck with me since ME2, and I figured there would be a lot of trouble if the corpses could still indoctrinate.
Oh, Jen will be a commando. Veya will be the archeologist!

1. Geth have become more "humanish" , so calling Liara "bondmate" just doesn't seem to work. Maybe Dr. T'soni or Liara would be better and instead of "her familial units" maybe "your family", you know, Geth becoming more humanish.
2. Earth is humanity's place of birth, it's a symbol, but I don't really care much about it. It's not destroyed in my canon, but my Shepard helps Liara rebuild her homeworld and then settles there, with her love. These reapers weren't just destroyed, they were killed, their very essence of existence was destroyed. Nothing of what was once the Reapers existed, just their carcasses, which were useless. So Earth could still be habitable.
3. Stated earlier my Shepard helps Liara rebuild her homeworld and then settles there. It seems the right thing for me, the Citadel might be a nice place too, but neah. Thessia's better.
You and Arcataye are both right on the first point, I realise this now. About the other parts of the speech I wanted it to seem more "humanish" as you say, but keep it geth.
About Earth: Yeah, that's obviously a prefectly valid way to look at it as well, I went with the Reaper corpses still having a lot of power despite being dead. Seemed to suit the ancient machine god style they have, and it allowed for an interesting scenario with Earth, but obviously not for everyone. Figure what the Crucible actually does is pretty open to interpretation since we're ignoring the "real" ending. I'm going with it simply killing them all off, but the corpses remain, still oozing with universe-bending power.
And Thessia is nice. I just found Eden Prime oddly suitable in a way.
Phew. Uh... this post needs a Liara...
Yes, I'll just stick with the silly screenshots for a while.

Well, there was that N7 team, I'm not sure I quite understood that part. And there seemed to be a number of headcanon relationships between Shep and other characters and between other characters that weren't really implied in the game. That's fine but it made it a bit confusing.

Too much ME maybe?
And thanks i guess I'll add something about the team, its an organization from a ME fan fic i've been slowly working on that takes place between 1 and 2 and is based off of Tom Clancy's Rainbow and Campus organizations. as for the character relationships I headcanoned that my Shep was a pretty loving guy and felt that his whole crew was family. I'll redo some of them to make them clearer though. Thanks for the feedback, and i hope the instructions i left for inserting links helps you also:)

IMO this is how it should have ended if Shepard had to die, showing you you saved the galaxy for your friends and how they can live and have a future thanks to you...but this was too much for BW <_<
Since it's true for at least some parts of ME3, I still hope they will remember and honor that last sentence in their post ending DLC.Casey Hudson said... (in PS3 magazine, Issue 140)
It's really about the emotions people will feel as the series comes to a close, because we could just end it as a war story. "Wow, things blow up and we routed the bad guys. Hurray!"
But I think we're doing something more interesting. We have a lot of respect for the characters we've created and the relationships we've built, and I think these will be the interesting things at the end.
Not counting that it should have been in the released game in the first place of course. Or that we indeed got a "Everything blows up and the bad guys are routed" ending. Or all the other great stuff they promised us ... <_<
That just means she's taking over your soul - bit by bit. Nothing to be worried aboutTyranniac wrote...

First post and I just wanted to throw in my 2 cents about Liara. Somewhat long post I know lol
Firstly, if people started playing Mass Effect 3 but never played Mass Effect 1 or 2, they shouldnt be able to romance Liara, IMO, or Ashley/Kaiden as well.
Secondly, I know why I care about Liara more than I do Ashley or Tali for my other LI's cause they put more effort into Liara and Shepard than anything else far as im concerned. Tali still has some decent effort in there though, but Ashley especially I didn't care about nearly as much as the other two, hell, she was barely there for the 2nd game, and it didnt exactly go well there, and gone for half of the third >.>
Thirdly, I'm somewhat disappointed at the lacking content that is in the game in relation to LI's in general.
When I was playing through with Liara, as an example, during the scene with the time capsule, even though I affirmed things in LOTSB, and stayed loyal from ME1, she still refered to me as a friend... Couldn't hug her or anything after Thessia, and in general not enough scenes, or comments, however small they may have been, that showed they were more than just friends. Its the last game of the series, it would of been nice to be rewarded a bit more in this regard, especially for those that stayed loyal with Liara/Ashley/Kaiden.
I can understand I suppose Liara being reluctant with things in ME3, considering Shepard died, Liara mourned that, and then Shepards back again. But after reaffirming things with her in LOTSB...
Fourth, I cared even more bout Liara after I did a 2nd playthrough, and realized that She still really likes Shepard, and wants more, even when Shepards with someone else, which showed for sure at two points, when talking on the presidium and Liara kinda draws out the just friends part, as if sighing that she is saying there just friends, and also when she gives Shepard the gift before the final attack and puts her head on Shepard and leans on him/her
Lastly, in my mind, when Liara mentions blue children at the end, at least, I think she does... Id have to do a third playthrough all to the end to find out for sure what she was saying, so forgive me if I'm wrong. But at least in my head as it is now lol... When she mentions that, shes hinting that theres blue children on the way after their fun on the ship... Or if not that, wants them at least... And to have the game end the way it did... T.T
Sorry for long post, but it tis my first after all, and after reading alot of posts on this topic I really wanted to throw in all my 2 cents lol
I wanted to add some of my own blue, but after adding the image in the post using [img*] [/img*] when I go to view it in the thread after it just sais image removed

To help Luxure explain: It's basicylly being "awake" when dreaming... You are fully aware of that you are dreaming, so you are able to imagine things (Liara for example) and a Liara will pop up... Or you can imgine to fly and you will fly. Really awesome! If anyone is interested there are several tuts that will explain how to accomplish lucid dreaming.

I don't prepare for it like it's some kind of ritual. You just need a good sleep before trying it about 8-10 hours, and it's all about concentrating. Try to empty your mind and just listen to your breathing and heart beats and nothing more. Get in a comfy position while you're in bed, close your eyes and just relax. You'll reach a state in which you won't be able to feel your physical body and you may also see weird lights/flashes or strange geometrical shapes. Don't concentrate or interact with them. They'll form a 2D or 3D scene and it might be easy to lose your awareness here. Just don't interact or concentrate and let them form and pass. If you've managed to keep your awareness up to this point, you'll see the 3D scenery getting more vivid and stable, now it's the time to simply step-in your dream scenery, or imagine yourself in there. And you're done. Just remember to not open your eyes, especially when you see the figures as you might end up in a very bad dream with your eyes open and your body paralysed. Just don't panic if this happens, it's just your mind projecting stuff, you may hold your breath to wake up from sleep paralysis.
Once you're in there don't get too excited and mess up things. Explore. Getting too excited or bored will make your dream fade away. Start rubbing your hands or try spinning to regain control over the dream again. Remember, it's a dream. Have fun.
Edit: Chaos, can U PM me those tuts please ? I'm really interested. I'd like to find out more.

I think you mean OBE (outer body experience)... Lucid dreaming is different I think... To get an OBE you have to do the things you explained, but to accomplish lucid dreaming you have to be asleep and already dreaming. Also this OBE can be very creepy, like faces staring at you and you're paralized... Also you can't simply wake up from the sleep paralysis... But you can wake up from lucid dreaming at any point if you want to... That's what i know about the whole stuff...
EDIT: @Luxure sure! I'll search for some and pm you
