Totally jealous, haven't had any dreams of any description at all in ages. Sleeping is just totally "functional" for me at the moment. <_<

Same here. I've come to the point that I don't enjoy sleeping and do so only for about 4-5 hours a night.
Maybe I should try that lucid dreaming... Oh well, the reapers will arrive before I learn it.

Anyone up for some editorial reviewing?

I'd offer my help, but I can't see myself helping that much to be honest. Luckily, you have a bunch of volunteers already. :)

I really love that line, but I still wish Shepard and Liara could actually discuss it.

In fact, a Shepard who romanced Liara but did not do LOTSB might not even know it was her who brought him back!

consort?? whos that consort??:devil: yeah you can say the fling with the consort was some kind of training for shep since he/she never had melded with an asari.. so he/she trained with the consort to not being stupid while melding with blue hottest goddess hahaha

Practice makes perfect!, and Liara deserves nothing short of perfection <3, therefore --> Shep needs to practice a lot

haha yeah, blue goddess deserves PER-FEC-TION<3<3 therefore, Shep needs to practice a lot not only in mindsex, but also dancing... maybe shep can ask some lessons to Liara:

Shep: Liara, come on, teach me how to dance better...
Liara: It's impossible you can learn to dance... we've tried everything on the galaxy... EVERYTHING!!
Shep: Come on, give me a try..:crying:
Liara: Dammit! I said no Shepard, stop ask...
Shep: *Renegade Interrupt* Then let's do some Mind Meld right now:devil::devil:
Liara: Okay Shepard... let's dance again...

Shep: *talking to the camera* See guys, Renegade Interrupts are the best on the galaxy to get your purposesB)

What if Liara rather wants to do some mind melding instead of dancing??

actually Liara didn't wanted to do some mind melding, thats why when shep did his renegade interrupt asking her to do some mind meld in that moment, liara changed her advice to not teaching him dancing and she agreed on restart the dancing lessons again....

If blue goddess had wanted to do some mind melding, she would agree with shepard of doing mind melding.
Whatever was the issue, what shep says to the camera it's true. With the renegade interrupt he started dancing again, and if Liara would agreed with the mind melding it had win again since his teasing on the interrupt has become truth and he has got his purpose of mind melding hahahah

Me dying in MP to a bunch of banshees is actually pretty realistic.

I've learned today: Don't bother with Reapers on Glacier (had to use my
5 missiles and still only managed partial extraction. It was really my
fault for not leaving when host changed difficulty to silver though.

I always have a question to ask you alex... how many characters had you promoted and in which level you usually play? since I see the leaderboards on the Galaxy at War and I see you have 700+ N7 rank hahahah

Arcataye, I'd like to force you into learning how to lucid dream, but I can only suggest it to you. Nevertheless, it's an unbelievable experience and it's worth the time you spend learning on how to do it. It's nothing you've ever imagined, it's beyond that. It requires a bit of practice, but once you master it you can have a dream full of blue babies and cuddling with Liara.

Edit: *cough* It's not just a dream, it's a dream within a dream. It's a new world /end of inception

Some of us aren't that good, I can play silver at best but get my ass whooped on gold, as for the Reapers thing, it's just Banshees that get me, I still haven't found a good way to kill them like i have for Mechs/Phantoms/Primes

I can usually solo a banshee (on Bronze at least) with my salarian engineer.  Energy drain absolutely demolishes her barrier, and incinerate helps against the armor.

Does Liara ever weigh in on the genophage cure?  I think it's been asked before, but I just finished up Tuchanka on my Insanity playthrough last night and I didn't hear her mention anything.  I did, however, take the "I need the salarians" option with Mordin and got some FANTASTIC emotion from him!  I still need to play through a few more times to establish exactly how I want it handled, but given how much Alice was pressing him during his LM, I think I'll keep that selection.  Alice was always conflicted about the genophage and the cure, on the one hand seeing what it had done to the krogan and not wanting to put an entire people through that, and knowing the threat they pose if left unchecked on the other...

I actually had to solo two banshees yesterday (not at the same time) on silver. Took some time as I only had Predator X for minimum cooldown.

And now I need some multiplayer.

I only did one round of Gold during the free multiplayer period (once college is out, I can start actually having money to spend so I can get Xbox Live Gold). I usually stuck to Bronze and Silver because while I believe I am a very good player, I don't want to be the guy that dies a lot when playing Gold. :pinched:

However, that one time I played Gold, I played it with a friend of mine and his friends. We all had mics, and because of that we did really well, but we ended up all getting ninja'd by Phantoms in wave 9.

So yeah, the moral of this story is, if you have a mic, use it and find people who also have mics. It will do wonders. B)

And love the picture! That line is so GREAT.

Not really.  I think she says a few things after the mission if you click on her in her room, but that's it.

I never have problems with brutes using my infiltrator but banshees are just a nightmare in and out of MP.

During London I was being owned by those banshees at the end. Then I found out Liara was there, being torn away by 3 brutes... I went runing with my blackwidow screaming (in my head) "LIARAAAAA".... then a hellish beam came from the reaper and I died... many times...

I'm very scared of those final momens in London since then...

But about the genophage... I don't think Liara would have much to say about it. I mean, she was so intensively focused on Protheans, it wasn't something afecting her directly. But maybe ethicaly, she would be pro-cure.

As a person, she would be pro-cure too, I mean, Wrex and Liara seem to work so well (they were my Go Team during ME), she must have a warm place in her heart for krogans (and she seemed to like Eve a lot).

Besides... grandad was a krogan, right?? :D but nothing the developers would use.

I feel the most comfortable to play against. I don't see how people can complain about how difficult it is when it actually isn't.

Simple: Because Reapers pose an objectively greater strategic threat - Reaper shock troops*(brutes, banshees) have no Cerberus/geth equivalent.

* e.g. Ghost exfil: You can stab pyros from cover all day long, but if a brute shows up you have to move (which is *bad*)

It's a simple matter of mathematics, really - banshees are fast, tough and insta-kill in melee so you have about 5s to kill them (on Glacier) => missiles necessary

In principle I'd offer my services as well, but only as "editor" in terms of story flow etc. I'm probably not that good as a lector :P

Yes that's 2px gaussian noise. Lights, colors and shadows tweaked too. I like to add effects to pictures, they look bland without them.

Lightspeaker, I might not be able to help with reviewing the fic as I got some work to do and won't be able to acces the forum in due time. I'll only be able to do it tomorrow ( now is 3rd of April 22:10 ) so yeah, sucks for me. But that only if you thought about sending it to me haha. Anyway, I know it'll be a good piece. Nighty night Liaramancers.

Damn, I thought you found a way to get the filmgrain back into the game.
But good work, like to improve my screenshots as well ;)

Well you can with ENBseries. If you don't want to tweak it yourself, someone made a pack, tho it has some other stuff too. :/

Was anyone else taken aback by Liara's skin being so textured, almost scaly, as it seems in ME3?

I mean, it's pretty sexy but it's really not how my mental image formed from ME1 was.

Hmm, I'm not allways a fan of the color palette changes of ENB, but I might try (and tweak) it for the grains' sake.

Thanks for the tip!

Yes, it was quite a change. But it's sooo much more interesting now, imho. Really gets you thinking what it might feel like :o

I find it fascinating. It was a great idea for them to do that I think, makes her appear more alien and is very interesting. And I think ME1 didn't show it because of graphical limitations. In LotSB her head seems sort of textured, doesn't it? (Not to the extent of ME3, but still.)

And why does some of you want film grain? I just found it annoying.

I imagined her skin always like that, I don't know.. I love it. ^_^

I'd like it to be in the options for me to toggle it on and off when I want to. Sometimes it feels just right and sometimes it just gets in the way. I wonder why they left it out, last two games had it and the engine hasn't changed that much (or at all) from ME2.

Someone posted dancing Liara few pages back, here's another.

Highly subjective, no doubt. I like the "analogue" look of it. Makes the game world feel a bit less clinically clean.

But I can understand people not wanting it and often deacitvate it myself for screenshot purposes, etc.

Just want to reach out and stroke...

Regarding multiplayer: still no Asari Adept though I just unlocked Krogan Soldier. Guess I'll just burn all my stuff on Spectre packs even though I'm kinda crippled for supplies (got no medigel and not many launchers).

I'm biased given that I've mainly played Infiltrator myself but I honestly think that anything above Bronze difficulty NEEDS an infiltrator if only for cloak/ninja-revive.

Regarding the story: thanks for the offers. I might send it out to one or two or I might now. I'm kinda undecided because I like "surprising" people with them but its quite important I don't start screwing up these scenes.
