And why does some of you want film grain? I just found it annoying. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/andy.png[/smilie]

I'd like it to be in the options for me to toggle it on and off when I want to. Sometimes it feels just right and sometimes it just gets in the way. I wonder why they left it out, last two games had it and the engine hasn't changed that much (or at all) from ME2.

Of course, didn't mean there shouldn't be an option. Just curious. Wasn't really a fan myself.

For some reason this makes me laugh. Also, does she have both a Predator and a Scorpion...?

Yeah I was always kind of bothered that I decked out my squaddies with badass weapons and then they have dinky Predators in the cutscenes. When I blasted Udina I wanted the loud threatening boom of the Paladin not some pew pew.

Well, at least they got rid of the Shuriken as the default sidearm. It really annoyed me that almost always the sidearm used in cinematics in ME2 was a Shuriken that for some reason acted like a Predator.

I've unlocked one of each race except asari on MP <_<

I wouldn't dare play on Gold until I've unlocked some better guns and got used to the different characters. A MP match is much easier if everyone uses their mics. Silver is difficult if people aren't communicating, I imagine Gold would be impossible.

I wanted to Vanguard charge him and then...ah, punch him I guess.  Punch him real hard!

Lots of scenes make no sense with a biotic (especially Vangaurd).

Like, on Thessia when Shepad is hanging off that ledge and Liara helps her up...can't she just charge up out of the hole and onto the ledge?

And if she's not a biotic, why doesn't Liara use her biotics to lift her ass up?

Never underestimate Liara. She probably just used her biotics to acquire one. :wizard:

Because Liara grabbing you and pulling you up is better then her using biotics silly.

This is why I prefer to play as a non-biotic Shepard. The cutscenes just don't seem to make sense for a biotic.

Edit: Oh, seems I'm not the only one who thinks that way.

I don't believe it. You don't like Star Trek (especially the best Trek, The Next Generation). You are missing out. :D Star Trek is one of the best sci-fi phenomenon on television. If it wasn't for my favorite franchise then there might have not ever been a Mass Effect. Lol. I love Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman but I love Smallville too. I enjoy about every incarnation of Lois and Clark/Superman (the comics, shows, movies or the cartoons), only at least they are good.

Comparisons: Mass Effect and Star Trek, etc.

You probably didn't know this but Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis), ship councilor of the Enterprise (Star Trek TNG) done the voice of Matriarch Benezia, Liara's mother in ME1.:D

Better yet, why can't Shepard hop off high ledges and do a badass biotic landing thing. I know Samara floats but that's totally not Vanguard at all. Yeah, I was hoping for more badass biotic cutscene stuff but, alas.

I think biotics would look sexier.

Plus, that's not really the time for grabbing.

I wanted to biotically fly away from StarBaby at the end.  Fly away to Liara's bosom.

Shepard only knows how to charge an enemy, who knows what would happen if she tried to charge thin air.

And if she's not a biotic, why doesn't Liara use her biotics to lift her ass up?

That would have been nifty and there's no excuse for her not to since Liara always has biotics (where as some Shepards don't). I liked back in ME1 on Noveria (I think) when Shep and the other squaddies got their guns out to threaten the security guards Liara did a biotic glow instead.

Different strokes I guess. I love blasting bad guys away with the Vindicator w/ inferno rounds in slow motion.

Would still be a more plausible ending than synthesis.

I do like the Revenant...don't use it much on my biotic characters as it's too heavy and kills my cooldowns.  Maybe I'll give the soldier a try some day.

The end of ME3 with "The Shepard" just reminded me of "The Sisko". It was about the only thing I liked about the ending.

I wasn't the biggest fan of Troi, but she did have some good episodes and hearing her voice in ME did make me smile (nothing beats Janeway being in Dragon Age though).

You are kidding me. You don't like Councilor Troi? Well I might not like her as much I like Captain Picard or Lieutenant Commander Data or the rest of the crew but I think she's cool especially with Commander Riker and I like when she appeared on Star Trek Voyager along with Lieutenant Reginald "Reg" Barclay couple times. Doctor Beverly Crusher is the only one that I like the less on Star Trek. What made her performance in ME1 disappointing?

Wow I never thought of that. Oh Captain Janeway on Dragon Age that was cool. It would have great if she done a voice in ME3. I still prefer Mass Effect over Dragon Age.
