You are kidding me. You don't like Councilor Troi? Well I might not like her as much I like Captain Picard or Lieutenant Commander Data or the rest of the crew but I think she's cool especially with Commander Riker and I like when she appeared on Star Trek Voyager along with Lieutenant Reginald "Reg" Barclay couple times. Doctor Beverly Crusher is the only one that I like the less on Star Trek. What made her preformance in ME1 disappointing?

Every episode I have seen with her, she always appears as the useless third wheel that does nothing at all to help the situation.

As for her preformance in Mass effect 1. I have already stated my distaste for the scene, but I guess it bears repeating. I really think that Benezia's death scene is the worst voice acting in the entirety of the franchise, every VA completely botched it (the awful animations did little to help). I think Sirtis pretty much simply phoned her preformance in.

Which is a shame, because I actually like Marina Sirtis' voice.

"EDIT"

Does anyone still have the "Matriach Liara" photomanip?

I just thought I would mention that I have cut out the hospital scene from Part 5 of my ending fanfic and reworked it, making it in to a rather short Part 6. I think it is more satisfying this way and helps clarify that what Shepard experiences isn't just "ordinary" PTSD, but lingering effects of indoctrination as well.

If somebody bothers to read it I would like to know if you think it's better this way.

That would have been nifty and there's no excuse for her not to since Liara always has biotics (where as some Shepards don't). I liked back in ME1 on Noveria (I think) when Shep and the other squaddies got their guns out to threaten the security guards Liara did a biotic glow instead.

Wow I never thought of that. Oh Captain Janeway on Dragon Age that was cool. It would have great if she done a voice in ME3. I still prefer Mass Effect over Dragon Age.

I prefer Mass Effect, even though I played Dragon Age first. Probably because I'm a sci fi nerd. Bioware games have a lot of my favourite sci fi actors doing voices. In between playing ME2 and ME3 I watched the entire battlestar galactica series for the first time, its made me like EDI and Bailey even more than in ME2. I wonder if I Liara was part of the reason for me liking Lightning so much in FFXIII.

I want to see dance moves! Before Cerberus nerfed Shep's sexy shuffle.

And if she's not a biotic, why doesn't Liara use her biotics to lift her ass up?

Liara likes the feel of Shepard's ass? Looking at her ass, I know I'd........ Nevermind.

I really love that line, but I still wish Shepard and Liara could actually discuss it.

In fact, a Shepard who romanced Liara but did not do LOTSB might not even know it was her who brought him back!

yeah me to, just another thing we can wish for though.  Even if BW spoiled us Liaramancers already

Scratch that, what was I thinking. Of course you have a happy ending, it feeds into the bit where Shep wakes up and Liara kisses her forehead, right?

You should be making the ending, step aside, Bioware.

Same here. Lol. I played Mass Effect first but I never finished my first run of Dragon Age: Origins. I don't know it wasn't really my cup of tea but I played Dragon Age 2 and beaten it. I enjoyed it a little more than the first one. However it  just isn't sci-fi or an outer-space adventure like Star Trek, Star Wars or Stargate. Well I couldn't really get into the re-imagining Battlestar Galactica. It's just not as exciting, fun, rememberable or inspiring as Star Trek or Stargate. EDI reminds me of Data, the Emergency Medical Hologram Doctor or Seven of Nine. Oh Liara (Ali Hillis) I just like her in the Mass Effect games. I never was interested in the Final Fantasy games. It would be cool if Ali Hillis appear in the next Star Trek movie which comes out in May 17, 2013 or Halo 4 or Resident Evil 6. :D

Some of us aren't that good, I can play silver at best but get my ass whooped on gold, as for the Reapers thing, it's just Banshees that get me, I still haven't found a good way to kill them like i have for Mechs/Phantoms/Primes
I can usually solo a banshee (on Bronze at least) with my salarian engineer.  Energy drain absolutely demolishes her barrier, and incinerate helps against the armor.

Does Liara ever weigh in on the genophage cure?  I think it's been asked before, but I just finished up Tuchanka on my Insanity playthrough last night and I didn't hear her mention anything.  I did, however, take the "I need the salarians" option with Mordin and got some FANTASTIC emotion from him!  I still need to play through a few more times to establish exactly how I want it handled, but given how much Alice was pressing him during his LM, I think I'll keep that selection.  Alice was always conflicted about the genophage and the cure, on the one hand seeing what it had done to the krogan and not wanting to put an entire people through that, and knowing the threat they pose if left unchecked on the other...
That would prob be why i hate banshees, I've only used Adept/Vanguard/Soldier in MP haven't tried infiltrator yet.
as for the genophage cure, not that i know of but i expect she'd be against it, even with her being more cynical in the last two games i don't think being for the genophage would fit her character.

Wonderful love the .gif  I even would have prefered this and my shepard lived.

and wait hold up somebody doesn't like Councilor Troi... *looks around bewildered*

@Tyrannic:  just got back from PT for my knee and I'm reading through it right now.

Also is it just me or am i the only one that finds myslef salivating at the thought of touching Liara's head crest.

Shepard:  Liara just let me touch them
Liara: No, Shepard I will not
Shepard:  I promise i won't tell Joker
Liara:  Shepard *turns back towards SB terminal*
*Shepard tries to stealthily reach out and cop a feel*
*Liara renegade interrupt, she turns around and launches a singularity*
Liara:  I told you no Shepard!
Shep:  *nonchalantly*  So we still on for tonight
Liara: *exasperated*  Yes
Shep:  sweet, love you babe

I have to agree. As much as I like Liara and all....the entire scene was pretty much blotched. When Liara shouts her "Mother...don't die.....fight it!" I had to laugh so hard
Don't get me wrong...I absolutely love Ali Hillis voice work...but it seems the voice director gave her the wrong instructions in that scene. Same for Marina Sirtis...the entire death monologue seems so lifeless.  Well...she dies and all but she shouldn't sound as if she's already dead when she delivers the lines.

It's rather weird though...the dialogue at the beginning of the fight was quite fine...they just totally wrecked the end!

I like the way you think, but Shep's a soldier. And if Liara can't support her weight during the ceiling session, well, let's just say there may be more than just bruised bums.

You doubt her biotic prowess? This is even worse than comparing her to a chicken way way back ._.
And you could always just have the cellingness over the bed, just in case.
