The color of the Uniform shows you which division the person is in.
Liara wearing blue means: Science or Medic in ST.
Deanna Troi is wearing blue in the Series. Liara is so much like her mother.

And I ignore the part about not really liking Star Trek. That's impossible. Noononoo

Ahh now I get it! As for not liking star trek.What can I say? I'm a star wars kind of person.

This is true, but going by my friend who has freckles (almost) everywhere (I didn't ask more, she just said so) it's not something the freckled may appreciate. Face freckles are all sorts of cute though. Anything else, I'm not in a position to comment.

I don't believe it. You don't like Star Trek (especially the best Trek, The Next Generation). You are missing out. :DStar Trek is one of the best sci-fi phenomenon on television. If it wasn't for my favorite franchise then there might have not ever been a Mass Effect. Lol. I love Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman but I love Smallville too. I enjoy about every incarnation of Lois and Clark/Superman (the comics, shows, movies or the cartoons), only at least they are good.

Comparisons: Mass Effect and Star Trek, etc.

You probably didn't know this but Deanna Troi (Marina Sirtis), ship councilor of the Enterprise (Star Trek TNG) done the voice of Matriarch Benezia, Liara's mother in ME1.

Lois and clarke was in the ninties, so maybe that's why I like it more? I tried to watch star trek a few times, but I  can never get into it. I know a few Trek fans in RL, and we always end up in a debate because I like star wars better.


 Nope I didn't know that, but  then again mass effect 2 was the first I played in the series. It's funny while I prefered ME1 overall, i remember ME2 more.

Same here. Lol. I played Mass Effect first but I never finished my first run of Dragon Age: Origins. I don't know it wasn't really my cup of tea but I played Dragon Age 2 and beaten it. I enjoyed it a little more than the first one. However it just isn't sci-fi or an outer-space adventure like Star Trek, Star Wars or Stargate. Well I couldn't really get into the re-imagining Battlestar Galactica. It's just not as exciting, fun, rememberable or inspiring as Star Trek or Stargate. EDI reminds me of Data, the Emergency Medical Hologram Doctor or Seven of Nine. Oh Liara (Ali Hillis) I just like her in the Mass Effect games. I never was interested in the Final Fantasy games. It would be cool if Ali Hillis appear in the next Star Trek movie which comes out in May 17, 2013 or Halo 4 or Resident Evil 6.

I bought Battlestar because I needed a new sci fi show to watch because I'd finished watching Star Trek but its actually not much like Star Trek.

I liked TNG, Data and Picard are great characters but TNG was probably the worst for female characters (I don't really watch TOS or the one with Quantum Leap dude). Troi and Crusher were both pretty annoying and not especially inspiring (Crusher is worse though, at least Troi had a few good episodes). DS9 had Dax and Major Kira, Voyager had Janeway and Seven, they made for much better female role models than Troi and Crusher imo.

EDI reminded me of Data and the EMH too, not so much Seven (unless you were referring to the catsuit in which catsuit).

Okay this has gone a bit off topic. Bloody Janeway distracting me from Liara.

Don't get me wrong...I absolutely love Ali Hillis voice work...but it seems the voice director gave her the wrong instructions in that scene. Same for Marina Sirtis...the entire death monologue seems so lifeless.  Well...she dies and all but she shouldn't sound as if she's already dead when she delivers the lines.

It's rather weird though...the dialogue at the beginning of the fight was quite fine...they just totally wrecked the end!

Looking back at it again. Her pre-combat lines were actually okay, I guess my dislike for everything else spoiled over.

That said. Anyone else wonder if it could be nice if there was some dialog with Benezia that triggered if you romanced Liara, perhaps some additonal lines at the "Indeed? What did you tell her about me Liara?".
