No, it's from ME2, you can play as Liara to get nice screenshots. Like Liara standing next to Joker, Liara smirking or Liara running from independent doom.

Killing the TIM is definitely on my list, next to - doing the most epic I told you so dance to the Councilors.
And paragon interrupt kisses every time Liara wants to say something.
Well the last thing could be awkward in some situations.....

I think you are over thinking it, but Vigil also stated that it was talking where the group could understand. I forget exactly how the VI phrased it.

I think he says: "I've translated my output into a format you will comprehend"

Strangely enough it's been several months since I last played ME1 but strangely enough I can still remember sentences like these..

My Shepard will buy him a bottle of Louis Roederer Cristal as a thank you ... With Cerberus working with the reapers, do you think Liara will know, partly at least, why? It would seem odd with her network of information that she wouldn't know something.

Think Liara can use her marvelous galaxy spanning info network to get your butt out of the trial? I have 1 shep who turned herself in, while my 2nd will be...annoyed but rather face the music then get hunted down....

I just can't see Liara twiddling her blue thumbs while her friend/lover is hauled off to the Alliance and probably imprisoned for treason.....or genocide....

Yes, I think Liara will know.  It seems the Shadow Broker knows a lot, but TIM does want to make sure Liara doesn't know anything.  It was mentioned on the mission end screen.  That and he wants to keep an eye on the relastionship between them.  

I will thank him with a bullet between the those weird eyes of his.  "Thanks for bring me back."  POP one round in the head.  Then I will use the Zombieland rule of double tap to make sure he is dead.

My Shepard would not want her to risk getting exposed so she would tell her to hang tight ... Of course, I think that Liara would be watching not only the trial but the machinery (politics) behind it very closely. Who knows what web she would be spinning if the worse happens.

But then the reapers go and break Shepard out ... that wasn't the white knight that my femshep was expecting. But hey, an ugly date works in a pinch.

I was hoping Liara would come to the rescue in ME3. The Reapers turning up at the trial *yawn* too much of a coincidence, too predictable. I suppose Liara has already rescued Shep once, but she was too dead to show her appreciation.

True, even if Shep blew up the base TIM would be stupid to go after Shep while the Reapers are still a threat. Keeping the base always seemed like the right choice to me, I'll be so pissed off if it comes back to bite me in the arse just because Cerberus switch sides for no good reason. I'm trying not to judge ME3's plot before playing the game, but I can't help being annoyed at the Cerberus thing. At least if the plot sucks the characters will be good, of that much I'm confident.

I have the same concerns over the Paragon decision over the Rachni. Hopefully it won't be a deal breaker but at the same token it means the chocie has few ramifications... damn you catch 22.

We've already been promised more squad banter, also since BW promised more depth for squadmembers I don't think they'll stand idly by like a bunch of zombies while Shepard dooms a species. I suppose they'll comment on Shepards actions either during the mission or after the mission while resting on the Normandy.

Still, Liara knows it's sometimes needed to sacrifice people for the greater good (eh sekat) so I don't think she'll mind the ocasional renegade actions of my paragon Shepard.

I can never kill the rachni queen, didn't feel right for any Shepard. Although maybe it was Liara's influence, character opinions do have a tendancy to sway my decision (Morrigan was such a bad influence in DA:O).

I think Liara would be understanding to renegade choices after the events of ME2. She doesn't give Shep a hard time about working for Cerberus (for obvious reasons) unlike the other ME1 squaddies.

What kind of relationship/banter would you like Liara to have with the rest of the squad? I've been reposting my Miranda/Liara story, so the subject has been much on my mind. How does she feel about the VS? Maybe she and Garrus could have a chat about revenge? Have her and Miranda remark on how the other hasn't changed?  Would you like her to develop feelings for someone else if you didn't romance her?

I think Liara could get along with anyone...her personality isn't really strong in specific areas in that she could possibly clash with another.  The Garrus/revenge chat is a good idea;  a chat with Tali on losing a parent would work;  Samara/asari stuff (kind of vague, I know);  Kasumi worked with some of her people on Illium, so that could be a point of discussion.

I'd be interested in seeing a little bit of iciness between Ash and Liara, particularly if/when Ash discovers that Liara was the one who handed Shepard's body to Cerberus.

I'd love to see a kinship between her and Samara, what with the whole pureblood thing and the fact that they both have broken families.  I wonder what Samara would think about some of the things Liara had done both in her quest to kill the Shadow Broker and in her role as the Shadow Broker.

I didn't mind Liara making the first move. In my first playthrough I did Feros first, then Therum so I had the assumption only Ashley was available to male Shepard at first. Then when I picked up Liara, my first thought was something like: "She's kinda cute..." so you can imagine my reaction when Liara's "Actually I was talking about my interest in you, and making a fool of myself in the process" dialogue started.

The way I understand it though, BW is going for a different approach in ME3 where Shepard has to be the one to express his/her interest before the other character will. I like it just fine this way since my Shepard isn't going to leave Liara anyway.

All ME1 LIs seem to think Shep fancies them if he/she is polite to them. At least with Liara there's a way to let her down gently, Shep can say "I think we should just be friends". Where as with Kaidan you pretty much have to tell him to ****** off. I spent ages loading saves to see if I could find a nice way for Shep to say "we should just be friends" but I was unsuccessful.

EDIT: I don't mind if characters make the first move, so long as there is a polite way for Shep to say "no thank you"

I would kind of like to see coupling within the squadmates. I feel kind of weird when Liara and I are the only ones getting any kind of action.....
