I like to think it's cause we're awesome. But honestly, I think it's that we get where you're coming from. Liara does get more attention and even though it works in our favor, we're not blind to how unfair it is to the rest of you guys. We gotta stick together in dark times and fight the forces of Hack and Chudson and what not.

As for the friendzoning thing...it did bother me a bit. Mostly because it was pretty clear we were not 'friends'. But my imagination fixes everything for me.

Yeah plus most of us have romances with the other LIs and like other characters,  I know that I'm not alone here in romancing Tali also, and quite a few of us including our resident baby hater PMC had romances with Ash and like both characters with almost equal love

Well, even though I wish Shepard and Liara acted more close during the middle of ME3, her character path and scenes are so good that, even if you weren't romancing her, you'd enjoy them. She comes off as your best friend, who cares about your well being. And Shepard cares as well. The build to the romance scene, and romance ending is great. And when you think back to the beginning, they've gone through everything. They've went through the best of things, and the worst of things. They even got a chance to go on a date in LOTSB. Then commitment, and then self sacrifice. It's a romance that has gone through entire series of drama.

Also, why do people feel Liara is shoved down their throats? I only romance her, and I mostly hear people complain about being friend zoned. Seem like a contradiction to me...

Same with me, Joker already has enough Extranet bookmarks and EDI is a sexbot now so he really didn't need to know. My Shep know if she wants to know anything about the Asari then all she has to do is ask Liara, if she doesn't want to spill the beans then my shep gives her a puppy dog face and Liara just melts and gives in.

I don't get the hate towards a character just because it gets screen time, I hated Miranda in ME2 and she got tons of screen time there, but I never felt she was being "shoved down my throat" maybe it's just me though

I can see that happening, Liara being curious about human music I imagine my shep would show her the "best of the best" and play some Mozart, Beethoven, Vivaldi or so on...that would have been an awesome scene!

If it's any consolation, I don't like him either.  I I spared kaiden twice; out of my 15 something playthroughs, lol. Yeah we're a pretty cool bunch here. We try really hard to avoid certain topic especially:
 Fshep V.S Mshep.(That topic drives me batshi* crazy..)

It's odd, but I think Miranda,Tali, and Ash are  way more popular than Liara. I have very strong issues against Miranda, but I won't get into that. I think the ME2 L.I were not meant to be serious(With maybe the exception of team-dextro and Miranda..)

Eh i dont really like it either, being that I also have shep's who romance Ashley (ash kinda comes close) and Miranda (bwhahaha...well at least she doesn't get stranded on an alien planet in the end...).  I find their romances a bit lackluster in comparison but eh...

Everyone naming their children now?  As much as I want blue babies, I think it would be really out of place to actually show asari children in an epilogue. Seeing how well human children where handled does not inspire confidence. Implying her pregnancy sure, but fullblown blue children has its place in fan art.

omnitool and sex talks, Maro and Kilshrek are having a catfight over Liara, me, Tyrannic, Lightspeaker, and Neerah all put up some new fan fics, there were plenty of new screenshots/fan art including a new ending tha Neeh put together.  some MP talk (we formed our own asari commando unit) and just general zanyness that this thread entails.  Oh and Karmen is still like 200 pages behind

That's exactly why I love Liara and makes me wish I have someone like that in real life. I think some of Liara does remind me of Lois Lane (another female character I like).
