hmm I see a lot of you have romanced other characters besides Liara. Seems I'm one of those who never tried anything but Liara out of all my 8 playthroughs (except one time I played without any LI first game and hooked up with Miranda in the second just for xbl achievement) throughout trilogy. I just can't see the appeal of other LIs (maybe Miranda because of her body but that's it). It's the same in every RPG game for me, I just can't do things in game I wouldn't do in real life.

And that is exactly how I feel. Definitely the reason I am starting a whole new "main" playthrough with Liara and deleting the one with Tali. It might take a while, but hell, its worth it.

You're not alone. I keep trying to start a career where is romance Traynor, but always find myself going back to the blue.

I was quite disappointed with the VS in ME3, they spend half the game b*tching about you and Cerberus (and being in hospital) and then the moment you get them back, at least with Ashley, she doesn't have much to say.

It sucked almost as much as going to talk to Liara and just getting "hello"

My "canon" shep never romanced anyone in the first game, but when I discovered tali was romancable in ME2 I jumped all over that. She's just too cute in that game. But, for some reason I just wasn't all that impressed with tali's romance arch in ME3. Was also getting tired of ashley's utterly depressing somber attitude/sob story over her sisters dead husband.

So, went back to ME and suffered 3 days of that horribly coded game to romance liara/virmire ashley and now going through the motions in ME2 to keep said romance going, and to correct the mistake of getting chambers/donnelly/daniels killed by waiting too long to launch the SM last time.

Alas, I love all the original ME1 characters...but liara's the only one with the best romance arch out of all of them.

i play ME avry time only whit Female Shepard, and i have chosen Liara for my only romance,

for me the relationship between Female Shepard and Liara transcends the physical sex,

i never thought about a different romance or charecter,

for me Male Shepard not is able to understanding the Asari physiology,

but this is my personal opinion.

I did the epilogue thing. Fiona found Liara and they embraced and have a family now. Kinda sad a non-developer made a better end then bioware.

I think every ME fan made a better ending than Bioware, right about now.

It's the same for me. I've romanced Miranda once just to get the achievement (then I reloaded an earlier save:P) but I just don't see the appeal of other LI's over Liara. I really tried romancing Ashley once in ME1, couldn't do that either. I'm not going to try again, I'm sticking with Liara.

It's actually the same for DAO. Tried all romances once to get the achievement but in the end most of my wardens just end up with Leliana.

How do you guys feel about Liara being stranded on Gilligans Island? 

I refuse to acknowledge that part of the ending - or any part after Anderson dies really. My headcanon ending takes priority over that piece of <censored> BioWare calls an ending.

It would've been very jarring though if the VS suddenly trusted Shepard after the events on Horizon. I appreciated someone who has the guts to question Shepard, but I think it's because there is no real payoff for gaining back their trust that a lot of people lost interest. It ended up looking like the VS was just constantly whining. I, for one, thought my Shepard was done with Kaidan after the things he said on Mars, but alas my Shepard ended up forgiving him anyway.

Edit: Also, I wholeheartedly agree with what others have mentioned before: Liara's romance is definitely one of the best in the series. I've yet to finish my Shepard who has her as his LI, but I know how it all plays out.

I headcannon almost everything after getting to the FoB in London. I really enjoy the dialog with Anderson on the Citadel but I hate that we are herded into him dying everytime even if we have an absurdly high EMS. The completionist and optimist in me feels like I'm being punished.

I know you guys feel I'm sad Ashley, Tali, Liara, Space Batman (Garrus), Joker, Traynor and thaw rest of the crew are stranded. But at least they have each other.

Well seeing as how I'm writing my own ending that takes theirs and uses it as like a dream... I still don't like it, but I'll live with it, though I still want something other than what we actually got. I payed good money for this game, and I want a full game, not 95% of one.
