Ok, admittedly I forgot about the Miranda thing. And don't get me wrong, I want Shep to have the time of her life with Liara and lots of it. And romance 'till even the last ice planet melts.
But looking at the big picture I still wouldn't want to push it too far. And as others said before as well, once Shep grows older there will arise quite a few of new issues.
Ugh, maybe it's just the bleak weather here, inducing lots of "bittersweet" (that word is so overused now) thoughts in my brain.
Better taking a dose of happy Liara again

Aaaah

In a non-romanced way, they did. But, either of those as LI's and it's not that great. Liara's the only one that got really good romance treatment...everyone else basically became secondary. <_<

As for Liara moving on... I don't see that happening even though it is the Asari way. Not after all they have experienced and gone through to be together. I believe Shep and Liara's love goes much further and deeper than other unions. I don't see her wanting to or finding love again or even getting together with someone else after Shep dies. She will certainly live a lot longer even if he does too... but I don't see her taking another Bondmate or lover once he passes on to the big Relay in the sky. I see her enjoying their children and continuing to help rebuild Thessia.
Liara would take time to move on, surely. A human lifetime, maybe. But she's got a 1000 years, and she's got a big heart. If she really never found love again in that time, that would say to me that somethings broken in her and I really don't want that to be true.

Dislikes: If anything and this is really nitpicking but the asari eye twitch although that got corrected:)
I probably said it a thousand times before but I thought it was a cute mannerism of Liara. And the sceptical expression it often times gave her allways reminded me that even behind the shy "facade" there was an intelligent, critically thinking "I hear what you say and I don't believe a word of it" mind. (Not that this allways matched the conversation at hand)
Nah, I'm with you on this! I loved the twitch in ME1. I thought it was a nice addition to her general mannerism. I actually agree with your entire statement

I like Liara as a great friend but my true love is Ashley
Generally it's the other way around for me, but I romanced Ash as well with one or two of my ManSheps.
Didn't see her romance scenes in ME3 yet but I felt she was a bit lacking in the content departement once aboard the Normandy. Not so happy about that.

Tali's stock photo is unforgivable. They make her admiral regardless of what you did in ME2. Even as admiral she is never allowed to do anything.
How they are only used for one part of the story and become useless afterwards.

Asari population reduced to minimum? Hardly. Thessia may have been overrun (same as all other planets really) but only the Quarians, Batarians and in lesser extent, Humans, can claim their population severely dropped. The Asari are the most widespread species in the galaxy. There are 10s of billions left of them, hardly what I would call minimum.
And... am I the only one who doesn't see Liara as a blue baby making machine?

It is 2012 and even today we can grow new body parts with stem cells and by the year 2200 probably every organ can be replaced with cybernetic or stem cell grown parts (well maybe not brain). So I see no problem with extending life of saviour of the entire galaxy by even 300-400 years. (this is of course only my opinion)

Well I'm quite happy about that...I love the Asari! I might be biased though...seeing how Liara is one of my favorite characters in the game :innocent:
Don't care much about the Batarians though. I always think they are evil. They scare me [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/unsure.png[/smilie].

haha maybe i've exagerated on "reduced to its minimun" but at least agree with me that the fall of asari's homeworld had a big impact in their population since I think the majority of asari lived there (not counting the tons of colonies they have on the galaxy)
but yeah my comment was on the same pont as your question, Neither I see Liara as a blue baby making machine, so you're not the only one here:D

If Shep died much earlier than she does, I'd hope she would find love again, but I think with all the changes in Shep due to the prothean beacons and project lazarus it just might be possible that he/she lives a lot longer than regular humans.

According to the codex, the reapers began to harvest Thessia...and it takes years to harvest a planet (it's mentioned that it will take 10 years to harvest Earth, and Thessia falls near the end of the war). I'd imagine there are still billions of asari on Thessia when the war ends.
