Basicly Bioware will provide new information to gap out the plot holes, but the ending will still be the same. Galactic civilization is still screwed, Shepard is still dead or stuck on Earth, and worst of all. Liara and the Normandy crew is stuck on the planet with no hope of escaping.

Well, at least it´s better than nothing. And many people have just demanded more closure soo... But yeah, we´ll just have to see. Oh, and it´s free. Not bad BW not bad..

I can't agree, I think it's worse knowing BioWare is so far gone that they thought this ending to the series was actually good. I preferred when I thought BioWare did this on purpose... but this... this just shows BioWare can't write game endings any more. They've managed to ruin an entire 100+ hours series in just 10 minutes... It's astonishing. Further it shows they're a bunch of liars considering all they've said about the ending was the complete opposite of what we got.

Yeah... this is pretty much my worst case scenario come true. Please let this be false.

This is just "One year later". I forgot to mention all the initial angry sex between Ash and Liara when they first crashed on the planet, them finally getting rid of all that hate that has been brewing between them for the last 3 years.

I doubt the ending can be fixed just by that. Singularity nonsense or space magic aren´t going to get any better through clarifications. If it was indeed them alone, Hudson and Walters should never be allowed to write anything ever again.

whatever happens on those cuts we'll see when they've released. IMO it's better they trying to fix their problems that stay with the endings we already know.

Ssometimes I don't understand ME fans and players. They start a rage against BW because of the endings, even doing charity collects, and now we have our "questions answered" (keep suspiccious until I see it with my own eyes) in spanish media ME fans are raging because of this fix/correction whatever we want to call it

EDIT: I add some lovely liara for avoiding this post being misunderstanded as a rage towards all people;)

wuav, seems I belong to the few who actually still has some faith in Bioware. Yeah, I hated the endings too when I first encountered them, but that was mostly due to the plotholes and the lack of closure. So, if they at least can give me that then I will be content. Not overjoyes, I can never be that with those endings, but content.

My problem with this clarification DLC is the fact simply adding cutscenes to show things wont change anything.

Showing a cutscene of Liara and Garrus abandoning my Shepard after he gets hit by Harbinger's beam won't change the fact that Garrus or Liara leaving the field of battle is incredibly OOC. Bonus points if they try to add some BS excuse of them hearing the order to fall back and acknowlegding it.

Mass Effect is a game, role game, the player live the game, live in the game, you choices change the event or maybe in theory, but this cinemetic content for me not is the way, i not have more reason to play again ME3, also before the Cerberus Base, for watch the last romance scene whit my Female Shepard.

I will probably get flamed pretty badly, but I think we fans may have been a bit too whiny and demanding. I mean, we have demanded more closure and clarifications, fair enough I can understand that. But when we are finally being given exactly that (and with no charge even) some people are still raging.
I´m not sure if this extra content will be any better than what we already have, but still; there´s no harm in being optimistic

I don't care for explanations on larger than life things in ME, I want my femShep to have an ending that shows she's better than that and will get what she fought and survived for.

Many lives were sacrificed for exploding Mass Relays, a cast away crew and the Hero under rubles (or dead)? What kind of messed up closure am I getting if ALL I WANTED during those 100+ hours of gameplay was to take Liara home and get my damn medals for saving people's asses?

TBH I didn't really expect more than this.

Rewriting the ending would have been nothing more than a confession they effed up completely, making them look bad in the business world. And it would be rather costly and therefore hard to justify financially.

It all depends now on what content they choose to include,how it will work exactely and wether it will refference more of our previous choices than what we have. And they will need to be very careful with their writing this time. If they won't nail the right moods and themes this'll end in another ****storm in no time.

Other than that it's still "wait and see" I guess ...

Where was that? Funny enough, I´m spanish but didn´t complain in my local media. Talking for myself, I´m just dissapointed they seem to be sticking to their endings despite being such nonsense rather than admitting they screwed up and actually fixing it. However I´m not surprised, reading comic books I´m becoming used to such things.

Since I already know someone with HIV I would say AIDS. No videogame ending can be more horrible than a disease which you can never get rid of and most likely bring you an agonising death. And not to mention the negative social stigma associated with being infected with HIV.

Ashley and Liara deserve better endings.

But I'm still not sure which has scarred me more the horrible Green Lantern film or the ME3 endings.

As a 20 + year fan of Hal Jordan, I can tell you the film was worse. ME3 had some of the most emotional, dramatic, and exciting moments ever put into a video game.

Green Lantern had a 114 minute runtime. That's about all I can say about that film.

my opinion is that Liara's romance scene is better if you stayed loyal (judging from videos i have seen) Katelynn will still not take her as LI, does not want to ruin their friendship.

anyone have that issue, not minding a romance with Liara but not doing so to preserve friendship?

I feel I must share this movie. I hope BioWare sees it as well. It shows why clarification isn't going to fix this mess. And the man really explains in a funny way.

Quitely awaiting PAX, there it will be decided whether they're attempting a project lazarus for Mass Effect or whether they'll just bury it.

ETA: Feeling pretty dissapointed and disgusted with BioWare right now. Offset with extreme cuteness.

That will be the 'clarification'.  "Liara and Ashley/Kaidan were so upset over Shepard's loss that they found solace in each others arms.  The pair hooked up and had 4 blue babies.  They named one 'Shepard'."
