Well, if they want my suggestion:

If Shepard is alive, and meets Liara, you get two response:

A) We need to start making babies.

It's finally over.

That way. You hit A, and epilogue says "Lots of babies". Don't hit it. No babies.

Cinematics actually take a long time to render, I have worked in vide game QA and seen games that don't get intros until the project is very advanced because it takes literally months to get them done, maybe this is a good thing as they might be planning to have several cinematics to cater to the diferent variables on the endings? one can hope

everybodies happy.  A is more settle down, family, etc etc  B is more stabilize the galaxy while maintaining a more concentrated effort on your relationship.  Both are good.
