If anyone is interested, here is a link of the time capsule scene with a sentinal Shepard.  Who is also a renegade, but paragoned Liara.

I started a default run.  I figured if I have to keep recreating my import Shepards, I might as well do a default.  Please fix the import issue!  I'm tired of recreating Shepards from ME1.  I don't remember what they all look like. 

Anyway, I have noticed a difference in the dialogue.  Liara seems more distant.  I am not liking it very much.  Garrus doesn't make the dinosaur joke on Eden Prime.  I thought Liara's reaction to Garrus teasing  her some was great.  Liara tells Shepard it was the beacon that allows Shepard to understand the pod data and see the flashbacks instead of the cipher.

Which I find really odd.  Even when talking to Javik, Ilos isn't mentioned.  Garrus' dialogue is different when they find out the artifact is a living Prothean.  No mention of the SM or Collectors.  

I wonder if the Ilos/cipher is also absent from an import with ME2 default decisions.  Or with Genesis even.  Feros isn't mentioned at all.

One thing I am happy about.  You can still talk to Aethyta and get Liara to talk to her.  Some of the funniest lines in the whole game.

I know what you mean. Starting new in ME3 is  cra* .I started and beat ME2 without playing ME first,  and you do miss a bit.  But with ME3 it's like you're missing  70% of th content without using an import.

Long as I'm looking at pictures like these or something more "hands on" I'm not certain I mind.  Though I do have to say, this thread moves very fast, I'm gonna have to spend all night reading again just to get caught up while I sleep this afternoon.

I did a couple of the default setting runs in ME2 and 1 from Genesis.  I have not imported those yet.  All are broShep and 1 is KIA during SM.  And the only Shepard to have Mornith instead of Samara.  Guess that is why he is KIA. 

For me it seeing the difference in the builds.  I did 1 run with no DLC included from ME2.  This is complete different from that.  At least with the no DLC run.  I was in a romance with Liara from ME1.  That is better than starting a new romance with Liara in ME3.

ME1--> ME2 LotSB DLC-->ME3 is the route to take.  But ME1-->ME3 romance is better than ME3 only romance.  Or friend zone Liara.

Yeah, I've done a couple of playthroughs but deleted them due to making them when I was like 14 I think...Now the most recent one I made, which I was going to have be my "main" or "canon playthrough, I no longer like due to the fact that I romanced Tali... I had a playthrough where I romanced Liara, but it was old and I didn't make all the choices that I would personally make, so I deleted it (I just  can't do things in RPGs I wouldn't do in real life). Now, as it stands, I am in the works of making my new "main" playthrough with Liara. Then, when I have everything needed, it will be like the Tali playthrough never happened hahah

That look and the two times she turns then looks over her shoulder.  Hmmmm sexy.  The first time she did was on Mars then again after getting Javik's comment about the salarians eating flies.  Which cracks me up.  I have a love/hate thing with Javik.  He is such a jerk to Liara, but I love how blunt he is about things.  Don't let him touch the shard.  All I am saying.  

I use more than one Shepard.  Which does make it a little easier to do different things with.  Still hard to not romance Liara.

Don't worry, my very first playthrough I romanced Ashley because I didn't want to romance an alien.  Such a tool, I know but I had that planned even before I played Mass Effect  Long story short, I fell in love with Liara's character and now my PT with Ashley as a love interest is non-existent, I don't even consider it my first. That honor goes to Dr. Liara T'Soni

HOW does that face appear? I've romanced her in both ME1 and LotSB.

Exactly! Thats what I thought at first when I played Mass Effect. I had the whole, "eww, no way would I get with an alien" train of though going...It was definitely dumb and childish (though, I was 14 when I first played ME1).

Now, I'm all for Asari lovin' (wisdom definintely comes with age) You just can't beat Dr. Liara T'Soni

I mean, come on, she is a Doctor after all

Because the Citadel is preserved, the Geth and EDI do not die in colleteral damage and (ignoring the tweets) seemed to provide the best chance for galactic civilization to recover.

I made sure that Javik didn't touch it. Better outcome in the end I think...

Javik is a jerk to everyone.  I can see why he is like that which is why I like him as a character.  Read Liara's notes about Javik and her research.  Even Liara is trying to know more about him and the Protheans in general.   She refers to some of her older work and views as childish. 

When you actually have a live Prothean to talk to, it does change your view of them.  Even if that one Prothean has a jaded view of the galaxy and the species of this cycle.

When he asks if you would want to see everything about the past when everything is gone and dead. Also, when he says "you can't remember the color of the sky of your home...but the pain is gone," you choose the "No, I wouldnt want...let old ghosts sleep" option

The last talk with in on the Normandy.   He talks about what is on the shard and how everyone is dead.  Javik asks if Shepard would want to relive those memories.  You can say yes or no.  Yes being top right answer.  No being the bottom right answer.  If you say yes, Javik will touch the shard.  If you say no, he doesn't touch it.

The dialogue on London depends on if Javik touched the shard or not.
