What is it with women and big guns? As sniper rifles invariably are, not every gun out there is a dear Russian VSS. We'll see about assigning you a position then.

Yea even my paragon Leia Shepard punches him in the gut and kicks him off the Normandy.  The actions of by Han'Gerrel does make it hard to side with them.  Leia told them, "Do not go to war with the Geth.  I will need your fleet for the Reapers."  Did they listen?  No, they did not.  

But, Tali has been there for Shepard since the beginning.  Legion helped with the Collectors and Shepard can really use both.  Brokering peace between them is the best stragedy.

Liara's comments back on the Normandy were heart breaking if you sided with the Geth.  Not doing that again.  No Tali, No quarians.

I had that set up as well, but never saw who actually shot Ash.  Left half of my screen was empty.  No squaddie seen.    From Liara's talk on the Normandy.  I took it she was the one that pulled the trigger.  I had James with me as well.  I have some weird things in some of my runs with Liara not being where Liara is suppose to be.  Like when single femShep and Liara kiss during the final cabin scene.  Shep is kissing air.

I have no screenshots for it because in my run where Ash was shot by Liara, Liara doesn't show up behind Shepard.  But she says she wants to talk about it later.  Liara is in the Lounge and you get more from Liara there about it.

Yes she does. I can't remember the specfics but she was errily calm about it.I expected her reaction to be a bit more dramatic.

As for screenshots urrgh I'll do that tomorrow..I'm sleeping now.

Hahaha! That'd take some explaining at the next crew meeting.

And I cannot play a hardass Shep, and.... I don't know if I could watch any videos of that. I avoid the Garrus & Liara dying videos like the plague. Shooting the VS is the third worst thing out there, after 1) Liara dying, 2) Garrus dying.

1) may never happen, for which we can all be thankful, but I made damn sure 2) never happened in ME 2.

Although I am experimenting in my current, very extremely slow moving playthrough. What are the required conditions for the VS to not trust you anyway? Not visit in the hospital and be antagonistic towards them throughout? Getting Liara to shoot the VS... damn...

I used to be able to play the 'bad guy' in the moral choice games. In Kotor and Kotor II I had no problem going full dark side, which back then was truly mustache twirling, puppy stomping, tying damsels to train
tracks evil. But honestly, it was mass effect 1 that rendered me nearlyincapable of doing so. I tried playing it renegade, but I just hated peoples' reactions to jerk Shepard. And from what I've seen, it got even
worse in ME2 and especially ME3. I watched a video on youtube of Shepard taking the Salarian Dalatross' deal and shooting Mordin...

I just don't think I have it in me to do that, the scene was so heartbreaking to watch.

Don't you just...

Renegade them on Mars.  Don't bother to visit when in hospital.  Cheated on them in ME2.  Not saving the Council in ME1.  Having the salarian Councilor die.  Doing renegade actions with them during the coup.  All of these factor in if the VS trusts you enough or not.

No, I didn't give the whole dialogue because I don't actually remember all of it.  Someone posted the text.  Liara is sorry for shooting Ash, but Liara at this point is going to do what needs to be done.  She thought Ash was going to shoot Shepard.  What do you expect her to do?  Let Shepard get shot?

Take a look at the dialogue Weazel posted, hardly seems like she had no remorse to me.

Yeah, I agree. I think this really shows just how amazing and engaging the series (or most of it) is.

I am okay with her shooting the VS. That is tragic but necessary.

It is her not giving a damn that worried me. But reading the dialog, atleast she says sorry. Still sounds like she is rather cold about it.

Take a look at the dialogue Weazel posted, hardly seems like she had no remorse to me.

He is going by what I posted.  I didn't post the whole dialogue because I didn't remember the whole thing.  After reading the text, it sounds right.  Liara was the one wanting the info on the Cerberus assassin and made the TIM/N7 comment to Shepard.  Shepard commented on remembering Ash.

I've only done that scene once and I didn't record it.  Maybe I should.
