that ending is not "art".... is a funeral.....i can't understan.. really
I'm gonna um... assume you were being sarcastic there... right?

I get it now! Its brilliance! Plot hole ridden brilliance! *pulls a saren* thank you Chrllze. *loads pistol*
Also: hmmm... *eyes the passed out PMC* We should put PMC n a room, done wall to wall to look like that planet the crew got stranded on or something. or put an inflatable ghost child alongside or something.
Also, its insert your own subtitles time. Get to work! What's going through their heads.

Mood? I believe hack walters and casey chudson were going for the "troll face" mood. They were the ones who locked the rest of the writers out of the ending.

not for me...
this ending is worse than the end of "The Mist"
in the end of the film "the mist" you understand what happens at least

in the and you not have the real control, your choices not have a real impact, only for some little cut scene, if your not have the minimum point,
art is pictures, song, film, only this element not have gamer or player, have only a Viewer,i'm not albe to entere in a picture, i'm not able to enter in the film, i'm able to live and to enter in virtual world only in th games, games give the possibility to live in another reality,
but this is my peronal opinion, i'm architectural student, and the achitecture not can is only art , bacuse the achitecture contemplates to live in this habitat.

I played through mass effect 1 11 times or something, mass effect 2 8 times, I planned every decision ahead just so I could have the best ending in ME3, I also had a character that screwed up everything in ME1 and ME2 just to see if there would be an ending where the reapers win, turns out the best ending is the ending where you see shepard take a breath and your crew being stranded on some random planet. nice, atleast the Liara romance was goodFRANCESCO84Inn wrote...

in ME3 this not heppen, the ending leaves more and more story element not closed and not finished and not explained,
so , or BioWare now have in mind ME4, or have in mind some new novel, comics for explained all, or some element.

imo video games can be works of art to there's no real difference that i can see between games and other types of art they all manage to tug your heartstrings and tell a compelling story, in a way that can leave you emotionally drained. to me games like ME3 minus that ending are on par with masterpieces of literature and other works of art. once again thats just my opinion

Hmm, I'd say it would need a bit more work to call it a masterpiece, but that's me. It has some great moments, but it also left me scratching my head at the pace at which things move. I never got how James knew what a Harvester was before I'd ever seen one. How did the Reapers get to Palaven so quickly? How come the Salarians never get bothered by the Reapers?
How did Cerberus know where to be, and when to be? Too many loose threads to me. But maybe that's just me being very nitpicky.

The thing is Bioware should have closed up the entire Shepard arc, with ME 3. They didn't, not at all. In fact they just blew up the goddamn galaxy. And then said "You just don't get it".

this is art really ? yes, ? but she is architecture, and in this house live people,
so i'm architectural student, but i'm never come to live in this art, because she is utopian, but this concept is wonderful,
i put this example, because ME3 not is only art, is in first place a game, this game give to the palyer the possibility to take choices.
