How did Cerberus know where to be, and when to be? Too many loose threads to me. But maybe that's just me being very nitpicky.

Nitpicker!

I never saw the reaper at palaven being an issue, is there any reason they couldn't have attacked it at the same time earth was hit?
And the Cerberus thingy, I was curious about that myself, but then I realised it had to have been Udina leaking the details.

Also: hmmm... *eyes the passed out PMC* We should put PMC n a room, done wall to wall to look like that planet the crew got stranded on or something.  or put an inflatable ghost child alongside or something.

I'm not passed out but exhausted ... I was qc'ing an omni-tool with Liara late last night.

Haha, patience.

Its NEARLY done. I've made a few edits and put up the "final" version for a quick check over. Then I just need to think of a title.

Should be tonight, really. ^_^

The scale of the attack then suggests they should have steamrolled the galaxy, since it was so fragmented and everyone's military forces were scattered all over the place. Hell, they broke all of Earth's fleets in one go.  When the Reapers concentrated their forces at Earth, Sword shouldn't have stood a chance then.

I'ma stop myself right here, and bring this back to Liara real quick...

Get yo safe words ready!

They might've been brutally honest with the ending; they just don't know how to finish ME3.
They stir the beehive, get the fans to fill in the blanks with fanfiction and then datamine that from BSN and stick it in the game as Extended Cut.

For Liara the most impression are probably:
- blue babies (playing on N7 hoodie)
- Liara's hardbody abdomen (probably stick her in one of those revealing Asari dresses)
- Liara and her Omnitool (for use in non-technical situations; PETA)

Or is that too much wishful thinking?

The Reapers used the Relay network to get to Earth, if they used the Relays then, they would've used them to reach other planets as well. By the time Shepard and Liara left Mars, they could've spread throughout the galaxy. So I think it's not a matter of 'how did the Reapers get to palavan so quickly' but 'Why weren't the Reapers at Sur'Kesh, Palavan, Tuchanka, Thessia and the Citadel before Shepard even got there?' - Would've been far more logical, though BioWare dislikes logic as we all know by now.

Eating so much cake and chocolate has apparently damaged Liara's teeth but I love how her head crest looks in this picture. :)

I doubt that everyone who was working on the game saw the ending as great art. I just can't see BioWare as a bunch of people who dont even like their own game. I truly believe there are workers who are really upset about how the game was done, but can't voice their opinions due to contracts and such. I guess it's all just part of a plan for future business. Leaving the end open for everyone to interpret and speculate on in numerous ways gives them space for future market. Seeing as Mass Effect franchise is huge money for EA, there will be more. Might not be Mass Effect 4, but something, someday, somewhere.

Hey folks. Been thinking about changing my banner again but I seem unable to find the one I'm after. Does anyone know where to find the 'Liara deserves a better ending' banner?

I believe you are correct. Most of the people at BioWare are clearly very talented and have put a lot of passion into this game. I feel very sympathetic to all of them who had their labor of love ruined by som event (or more likely, someone.)

Anyway, this is not something to be talked of here. I'll be getting back on topic now:

I assume I'm not the only one who brings Liara to every mission?

if this is a busines plan... bioware and ae should know that  a disgruntled fan is a fan that buys less.. in my opinion ^_^

If we discard ME2 other than LOTSB and the begining of ME and one or two missions with Tali and Garrus than no you are not the only one.  Liara, Garrus, and Tali are my go to squaddies

as for above, I personally want to blame EA's meddling for the ending just like Lucasarts forced Obsidian to put out a half finished game as a sequel to KOTOR.

...Am I one of the only Mass Effect fans who doesn't spend all their time trying to tear the franchise and its developers apart?
I mean, I'm not completely enamoured with the ending, but I'm not gonna demonise Hudson or Bioware for it
It'd be like writing a letter to Scott because you hated the way Thelma and Louise drove into the grand canyon - So what?
I'm not furious or frustrated, but I still like the idea of the Extended Cut - Liara's back, no?
Isn't that enough...?

You assume correctly Tyranniac. It feels strange not having Liara by your side out there on the battlefield. It's even more mandatory for me that I'm an Adept. *adept brohoof*

Omnitools are minifrabricators right?
Liara might need to frabricate an icecube or two to help her cool down Shepard if things get too hot.

QC or destruct-testing? I suspect the latter by the sheer quantity of exhaustion exhibited.

Yes, every mission indeed. But in a way, doing so risks her life on a daily basis and I should feel bad for doing so. :(

I think you guys should realise by now that Cerberus is nothing more than plot-clay, they are whatever the plots needs them to be.

Whether that be a small but well-funded black-ops group or a new-world order that can go head to head with the 4 greatest super powers in the milky way. So do not bother bringing logic to Cerberus in ME3.

Tyranniac wrote...

I brought her along most of the time, though there were a few occasions where I felt there was more appropiate characters to take along.
