I've accumulated a number of nicknames on this thread.

Agent, Chickenman, what else was there Maro?

Liara doesn't have any official nicknames! There must be a blueberry reference to Liara in future content! Erm, not that I'm buying it just yet... but... I'm just saying!

Jack called her "Blue" and we'll always have "Little Wing"... and you know what? It would be damn cute if Shep called her that...

Third part of the fanfic, as I've repeatedly promised. Still concerned whether I've been able to do my ideas for this one justice with my writing but I can't keep delaying it forever and just tweaking and tweaking or you'll never get to see it. Heh.

A few notes beforehand:
- Similar to my previous work, this should be suitable both as an independent story and also in conjunction with the other short stories in this series. Its DESIGNED to be read with the others, but it doesn't have to be. It also should not interfere with anything that actually happens in ME1 and, indeed, calls back to a few conversations with other crewmembers that you may or may not be familiar with.
- Massive credit to Luxure and moreeman06 for doing editorial review for me on this.
- I actually thought this to be a little shorter than the others, but based on the word count its a little longer. Go figure. *shrug*
- Its set after Noveria and assumes you rescued Liara first and then went to Feros. Unlike the others it is NOT set directly after the romance conversation. Instead its split, with the majority of it set after you speak to Liara about Benezia and the last part set after the romance conversation.

Wrex showing concern about Liara? That big old soft lizard. Although I'd probably have expected Tali to ask after Liara, not the hardarse Wrex of ME 1.

And Naomi is so.... human... and ever so slightly lecherous, when it comes to Liara.

Otherwise.. I can't really think of much else to add. And I like how the buddy buddy of Kaidan and Ashley is elaborated a bit more here. Could have done with the ME 3 crew system in both previous MEs in my opinion. Although, I forget, was the crew ever in the know about their relationship?

I take it the next part shall be post-Virmire?

I thought it'd be a little more poignant with Wrex, precisely because he's not the one you'd expect. More to the point its not long before this that he tells you what happened with his own father, so he seemed the natural choice.

Otherwise.. I can't really think of much else to add. And I like how the buddy buddy of Kaidan and Ashley is elaborated a bit more here. Could have done with the ME 3 crew system in both previous MEs in my opinion. Although, I forget, was the crew ever in the know about their relationship?

You mean the Liara/Shepard relationship? People notice, or at least some do. Like if you've been friendly with the two different possible romance interests (in the case of Femshep its Kaidan and Liara) you get a conversation where you basically have to "choose" because they notice your interest in the other and ask about it.

Kaidan and Ashley is something I just knew I had to work in when I heard a particular conversation. For some reason its one I just can't seem to find on youtube between femshep and Ashley. Its that "letters from home" conversation you have; if you're male Shepard theres a comment where you overhear a message where her sister says something about how cute Shepard is. But if you're femshep her sister says something like "I saw that Kaidan guy on a vid, he's cute" to which Ashley just deadpans "Let's pretend this never happened". And you have the option to say "you interested in the Lieutenant, Chief?" If you've already rejected Kaidan yourself she makes a comment along the lines of "Fraternisation is against regulations, Ma'am. Don't ask, don't tell." Based on that I just knew I had to add a little something in there to show friendship and hint at possibly a little more.

I take it the next part shall be post-Virmire?

Correct, most likely a full stretch from post-Virmire until the start of Ilos actually.

Laughed at the depiction of Kaidan as beeing one step behind all the time [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/lol.png[/smilie]

One thing that bugged me a bit was the sentence about the power of Sovereign. It sounds as if the characters allready know that Sovereign itself indoctrintated Benezia.
But aren't they still speculating about Saren using the ship merely as a tool for his own objectives at that point?.
(Admittedly I might be forgetting something, it's been quite a while since I played ME1)

And I'm not sure if Wrex wasn't a liiiittle bit OOC, though in light of his
comments towards Liara in ME3 it might actually just be a side
of him we didn't get to see that much in ME1.

But that's all just nitpicking, really.
