She did survive a freakin Reaper beam.

I've been saying, Shepard is the first Astartes! Astartes can potentially live up to 1,000 years, so there's no problem!

But if it doesn't feel like we exterminated the galaxy, wiped out civilization and all the characters are stranded on some godforsaken hell hole for the rest of their now considerably shorter lives, it's got a little potential. You'd at least be able to play the endgame without vomiting multiple times!
Which is great because booze isn't cheap.

Your speculation does not faze me. I didn't mean that btw, your nickname obviously works, because you like it. I'm just thinking along the lines of, Lola and Esteban. The nickname given isn't anything to do with their actual name, it's to do with your perception of the person, thus Lola and Esteban. Esteban cracks me up though.
Someone(Neeh maybe?) said hundreds of pages back that their nicknames were Blue and Red, respectively. A worthy ****** take, if I do say so myself. But yeah, I'm gonna have to seriously ponder the nickname thing, because so far it's just been... Liara and Rachel..

The "Unofficial" Patrick Weekes interview was a good read, while I may not have high hopes for Extended Cut DLC I will say that now Patrick and the other writers are getting a look at the ending they might be able to patch it up into something that at least feels cathartic rather than horrible and depressing. The endings will never be "good" since Starchild is going to be in them and that character is a horrible idea and everything it brings up are horrible ideas that just come out of nowhere.

Exactly. At least I don't feel like crap thinking everyone is crashed somewhere or never going back home and the universe just exploded....

Yeah, I think this new cut will show a more hopeful ending. It seems that they thought what we got did just that..but it really didn't.
StarChild's just the last little crappy hurdle standing in between Shepard and a life full of bliss and mindsex.

Indeed good idea to keep a M23 Katana around since it's apparently the 20 gague of the future. Not for the toddlers mind you . . . the future groundhogs.

Well one of the benefits of giving Shepard a long first name is you can shorten it for a nickname or "pet name" which for Colleen is quite ironically Collie.

I'm sorry, but having known a couple of collie's... I can only see your Shepard as a sharp featured, slightly hirsute, but extremely intelligent, Shep.
*pleasedon'thurtme*
But I like the Vega way of assigning nicknames. I shall have to work one out along those lines. Everyone sall have a nickname that matches the person.
And I am not Chickenman.

They should seriously add more dialogue to shepard in that sceneHeather Cline wrote...
They completely assassinated Shepard's character in the last 15 minutes. No matter what they put into that extended cut it still will be crap. No offense to anyone but character assassination cannot be explained. It can only be re-written so that the character isn't assassinated and they aren't doing that. So frankly the extended cut will still be crap no matter how you look at it.
