Unless you completely AU the destroy ending because I think the cybernetics Shepard was implanted with also get destroyed. Shepard isn't the only one with cybernetics. Garrus as them as well. Ahuh, made up for the years bit. And then.. Shepard lives a reasonably long life. My headcanon will say she lives as long as Liara, because of all those mad scientist upgrades, and on account of the advancement of medical technology.
Shepard isn't entirely human anymore, and what human bits she has, can be fixed with gene therapy, prolonging life to a ludicrous extent.

I wouldn't read too far into the star kid's explanation, it's full of crap as you know. EDI has even been shown to survive the destruction ending so if EDI is alive, then Shep's implants are safe. Also Shepard is pretty much a half cyborg now, if those implants/cybernetics were destroyed then he/she would die immediately.
All quarians are also rigged with cybernetics to allow them to interface with their suits, would that mean they would all die? How about synthetic biotic amps? Every biotic in the galaxy has them...Even Liara. Does that mean every biotic would die? I sure hope not...
Like I said, do not read too far into the star child's dialogue...

I also have a vid of EDI saying Liara called her a blabbermouth.
I thought the blabbermouth line was humorous. With a non-import Shepard when EDI does this line, Shepard responded with "She's what?" Which proves Liara's point that EDI can't keep a secret.
