Garrus is more likely to have eyes for Liara.

But surely Garrus is Tali's plaything?

But then again...He does like Tali. So...Maybe Kaidan? No Kaidan too calm. But he did in ME1 say that Liara was easy on the eyes.

Do you think Liara would want to go back to Thessia to help rebuild? I mean, her dialogue makes it seem she feels she's neglected her own people, so it seems to me she'd want to put that right.
If so, would your Shepard be willing to go along with her, or would they want to focus on humanity?
Of course, this is a much bigger issue if the relays are gone. With relays, you can probably sort something out.
Shepard and Liara helping to rebuild Thessia would be an ideal ending for me (my Shepard is a spacer and she is not THAT attached to Earth). But I guess the Asari around Earth will need several years to return to Thessia...
I'd imagine Matriarch Aethyta will become quite popular among the asari as well.

My Shepard would be with Liara no matter where that is, if that involves helping Thessia so be it, Earth can rebuild within him.
Though I image Shepard and Liara spneding much time flying around in the Normandy and helping around the galaxy, be that Earth, Thessia, Palavan, New Tuchanka or what not.
Though Thessia would likely be an ideal place to live.

My Shep would help Liara rebuild Thessia, though it'd be a while before they reached her homeworld, given how the relays are gone. Though I don't see why they couldn't look at FTL drives from reapers and upgrade what they have to make travel faster than it is currently.
On another note, seeing as how they patched ME3 today, or will be, fixing the face import issue, might do a run from the first to the third again.

Listen to the comments about purebloods when on Illium. Some asari seem to hate them and feel they are a blight to their species. That one was very negative about it. It bothered me to listen to her, because it made me think of how nasty some might have been to Liara when she was growing up.
I always figured the other asari were pretty nasty to her growing up.
I think that's something else shaping Liara's closed-off personality.

It would make sense that Liara is so private because Benezia was. Benezia certainly seemed to keep a lot of important secrets from Liara. It probably helped spark Liara's curiosity at a young age. It would explain why she was digging for ruins in the park as a child. If you keep an important thing like a child's father a secret it could make the child naturally more curious, only with Liara it also made her think her father was ashamed of her so while she was naturally more curious that curiousity was turned toward things other than finding out who her father is. She definitely wondered but likely didn't ask Benezia many times after Benezia kept not answering her questions and turned her curiousity toward the "father" of the current galactic civilization, the Protheans.
Yeah, it's an interesting theory.

I agree with that.

That's being a bit unfair on Benezia, isn't it? Like I said, it could be that Aethyta was looking to protect Liara from herself(Aethyta), and thus agreed to separate from Benezia.
Or perhaps she didn't want to settle down?

I don't know what could really be better.
00:44 there could be some music where Shepard takes the glowing levitation thing up to the catalyst chamber.
02:30 you could clip out the few seconds where Shepard chose the dialog response so it becomes more fluid.
03:17 Shepard's "No" to the starchild felt a little forced as it was said a little too soon.
11:39 add a pause of a second or two between Liara's first two lines so that they sound a little more natural.
But these is small things
I really enjoed that someone created an alternative ending with mshep, so even with whatever improvements you make this will remain my favourite

This is probably a can of worms I really shouldn't open here, but I've been pretty outspoken on my opinion that "Children do not equal a Happily Ever After Ending for Everyone" (aka "little blue babies don't make everything better")... I was kind of annoyed by the forced "lots of little blue babies" line, and I'm glad they cut the extended Anderson/Shepard conversation where he says Shep would make a good father/mother.
I noticed that most people answered that their Shep/Liara combo would produce between one and an indeterminable number of kids. Do you think a Shepard who wished to remain childfree and Liara would stay together?
Of course they would. My Shep doesn't really need a child with Liara to help their relationship along, they'd remain together even if either of them didn't want children. Though I think for an Asari having children is an important part of remembering their partners. I'm just going to headcanon it so that Shepard lives for several 100 more years so for them it's a moot point.
For a regular relationship, an Asari stays with the same partner for a few decades, maybe a century, and then the partner dies. Eventually she'll either find a new partner or hit the matriach stage and get no new partners. Having a daughter that reminds them of their former partner (or partners) would be THE lasting testament to how the asari felt towards her partner. It would also keep their memory of them alive more strongly.
