Well, I doubt Aethyta settled down and played family with her hanar lover. Perhaps Benezia wanted that (i.e., bondmates) and she didn't?

Anyway, I expect that was something of the case. Maybe Aethyta just didn't feel up to the task, you know the glowing terms in which she speaks of Benezia, I dunno, but I can totally see that "I'm not good enough for her" doubt at the back of Aethyta's mind.

Does anyone know if other characters show concern for Shepard's well beng during missions in ME3 or if that's just Liara? I've brought her to every mission, so never had anyone else ask if she's okay or such. There's something like three or four such moments if I remember correctly.
Or Leia isn't anyway.
