How in the heck did Liara get all her ShadowBroker equipment on the Normandy? And when?

Was it something she discussed with Hackett?

Or perhaps during the first trip to the Citadel....Hummm....

I've wondered that too.  Me and a buddy was discussing it.  He thinks she picked it all up when they were on the Citadel, but I'm not so sure.  Anderson was going to take over the Normandy, but he stayed on Earth and gave it back to Shepard.

Your guess is as good as mine.  I think she may had an agreement with Hackett or Anderson.  If you did the DLC, Liara does comment about Hackett contacting her as the Shadow Broker.  Or I think that is what she said.  Damn it losing all that video before I got around to editting it.

Not in a million years.  Liara might have been up for a threesome in ME1 when Shepard says I want both.  But neither Ash nor Kaidan was up for it.  I don't think Liara is willing to share Shepard with anyone after all the things Liara did to get Shepard's body from the SB/Collectors.

I can't even take Miranda's romance seriously.  Really, Miranda?!?  Engineer deck?  Not your room or Shepard's?  But where anyone can walk in on us or watch from above.

You are walking on very dangerous territory right there, lady! :bandit: Miranda's scene was hot!! :P

Okay, I'm just kidding... not about Miranda but about fighting. I've gotten along with you before so no need to engage in a silly LI fight. However, I do agree that Liara does seem to be Shepard's true love

Saw this in Holdtheline.com:

http://www.holdtheli...391_n-jpg.1000/

Miranda's scene was the hottest one in ME2, but all those love scene sucked in my view.  Even Liara's during the DLC.  But BW made up for that with the scene in ME3.   I have a very vivid imagination, so I can picture what Liara and Leia were doing when it faded to black, but the execution of all the ME2 love scene were very meh.

EDIT: WTH??!!??  It won't let me highlight the link so I can open it.

It felt like they just swept the whole idea of her being THE Shadow Broker under the rug. To me, that role should have been the biggest secret in the galaxy (as far as my Shep was concerned). Then come ME3 it seems like everyone and their krogan knows who the Shadow Broker is...

Only if you have an import Shepard.

The blabbermouth comment from EDI with a non-import Shepard is telling.  When EDI says Liara has become a more private person since becoming the Shadow Broker.  Shepard comment was She's what?  EDI then says, you two need to talk.  So, I went to talk to Liara and she doesn't mention anything.

She didn't want to talk about it during the first talk on the Normandy.

It seems the only people who know Liara is the SB are those close to Liara or were on the Normandy when Shepard helped take out the SB.  I have a feeling Liara and Hackett became friendly when Liara was looking for Shepard's body.  If you didn't romance Liara, she does say that Hackett gave her Shepard's dogtags.  Hackett was keeping Liara updated about Shepard when Shepard was being held on Earth.

Barla Von still thinks the SB is male.  So, I don't think the SB agents know about the change from the Yahg to Liara.  Best place for Liara to hide as the SB is being an information broker.  Which she was before.  Aethyta only says she the biggest intel broker in the galaxy.  She didn't say Shadow Broker.  And I am so glad she reprogrammed Glyph.

Tali should know in my game.

Sorry Tali the table flattened ya, but you know how Leia feels about Liara.  Liara was right there next to me and you were several feet behind.

I suppose that since Liara was there when Soverign attacked, and knew that eventually the reapers would be coming eventually, that aiding the effort to stop them was worth her being known as the Shadow Broker to close allies of Shepard/Liara. As far as I know, most likely all of the normandy crew, Hackett, TIM, know that Liara is the SB.

Edit: @lady, it changes that much if you didn't import a shepard with the dlc? I never would have knowned. Couldn't play the game like that, especially if i was missing out on content that involved liara O.o

Yes, they did make up for Liara's love scene in ME3 and Miranda had a fade to black scene. She had the best one in my opinion, it got me at the part where she held my Shepard's hand. That was epic sweetness that almost made me cry :crying:

For a very short while I thought it was just her and Feron hauling as much as they could and fast, but that is still a crap ton of stuff. I now go with Hackett helped her out since even Shep is like "OMG so much stuff! How did you even...?"

Having only two main imports that both stayed loyal to Liara, I always wondered when the romance scene would happen. After the Collector attack? I suppose that fits in with the let's get it on before we do the last mission, but... after your crew gets kidnapped, you find the time to get busy? Sounds a little wrong.

And Lawson probably pranked Tali to be somewhere else, or something.

I redid the SB mission with a couple different squaddies just to hear what the fat cat would say about them, I think I liked Vakarian with me the best though, something about space batman having your back.

The holdtheline link you posted.

The Shep with Miranda ended up breaking it off with her in ME2.  Not even importing that file.  It was the same Shepard that was with Ash then Jack.  I played with him twice.  Cheated on Ash both times and only plan on importing the Jack romance and I ended up breaking it off with Jack to stay with Ash.  Why I do not know.

All the ME2 romances got fade to black in ME3.  It seems that only Liara, Ash, and Kaidan got the ME1 treatment.  From what I have seen so far.  I have not done my run with Kaidan as the romance yet.  Soon.  I still enjoy doing Liara's romance.  I'm on my 7th run(unemployed so I have plenty of time for playing) and I've romance Liara 5 times already.  And I went back in forth with the non-import femShep I am using now between Liara and Traynor for hours then slept on it before deciding I would stay with Traynor.

Liara's romance seems off if it is new in ME3.  Off might not be the right work.  Awkward might be more like it.  Especially the Citadel scene.

When you jump through the Omega-4 relay.  Instead of going to your cabin to look at Liara's picture,  Shepard get is on with their new LI.  Or in Garrus' case.  You get a headbump.  Each one is different, but Miranda's is the only LI scene not in Shepard's cabin.  Even Liara wants to keep the rest of the crew from watching.

I think on my first game I took Jacob with me on LotSB....because for some strange reason He says something like "Hey, I remember you!" To Liara on his N7 mission in ME3.

I was all like "Oh no you don't Mr. Oldspice!" ;P

So ya...kinda strange:)

Hold The Line by Kirrahe. I expect some of the serious renegades have already seen this. But... wow.

Kinda means that baby Medea won't be getting a pet pyjak from Uncle Wrex though...

I actually liked Wrex's speech better, although I prefer the Salarians. But what sort of ruined Wrex's was his voice. I've always hated the voice actor; very generic.

Oh man, was that awkward. I liked my scene with Derek, even if he said I love you first.

Dang, you got a lot of PTs. I have other Shepards but they only have at most 1 PT while Derek has had more than 10 if you combine all three games. LOL

Ah, yes, I forget that moment sometimes. It was rather.. nice.. to have Shepard look at a photo of Liara, just before the SM.

And Liara did become a much more private person, after becoming the SB, so it makes sense that she'd want to be in the most private (relatively speaking) place possible. But I like the headbump, I saw that one. Cute.

Also, just one more, can't a renegade Shep get it on with Jack in her living space? Angry sex or something like that?

I have 10 different Shepard, but I have only imported 4 so far.  I've been waiting for the patch to fix the import face issue.  Which gets released for Xbox tomorrow.  PC got it today.

My 1st run was the file from Jan 2010,  No DLC from ME2 at all.   So, Leia did say to Liara I love you first.  You get that if you cheat or didn't do the DLC.  Which is not right.  Cheaters should get different dialogue.  Just my opinion.  I have a cheater Shepard.  She is a tool.  Nice person professionally, really messed up personally.  She was with Liara in 1, Garrus then Liara in 2.  Thinking of getting with Thane.

Now, I can't import the cheating file in the character file.  She did break it off with Garrus because Liara wanted no choices or to cause problems.

Yes you can get it on with Jack in her hidey hole, but it locks out the romance with Jack.  You either renegade sex with her or you do the romance and see her cry later.  You can not do both.

@TMA
I miss the flatterer line in Liara's office and all the little things on Mars between Shepard and Liara if they are together in ME1.

The new ME3 romance with Liara is bland to me.  And the Citadel scene is very awkward.  I've done that romance twice now.

Oh, well that answers it I guess.

Also, I found something rather interesting here which rather expands in much more detail Shep's internal struggles, compared to the one on Cronos station with Liara. Kind of a shame this one got deleted.

Personal reasons for dislike of miranda aside. The main issue with Miranda is what she was made to be,and the audience she is meant to appeal too. It's a shame too, because it really degrades her as a character.(Which is why Liara rolls her eyes in LOTSB.)

Oddly enough, on my one romanced miranda playthrough (with 'idiot paragon' mshep,) I couldn't go back to Liara.

I do wonder what the most popular triangle is. I would be inclined to belive it is Ashly/Miranda & Ashly/Tali fo mshep, and Kaidan/Garus for fshep.

Back on Topic:
Did anyone find out if Liaras skin texture is based of a lizard, or another reptiles?
