It was so cute, and then the last panel went all serious.

God I wish that i could have this with Wrexs speech, I missed Kirrahe's speeches but i couldn't shaft the krogan, plus with the exception of Kirrahe and Mordin the rest of the Salarian race can suck a big one. on an aside I always thought that Kirrahe would make a good Henry V... maybe follow in Mordin's footsteps and enter the theatre.
To hear Kirrahe sing! Bit of a cloaca, though.

Wait Liara=midi-chlorians..... that means i have to be atleast as powerful as a skywalker if not infinately moreso by now.
With all that melding going on? Damn straight.

yeah I'm not a big fan of JarJar but he's still better than Jaxxon the space rabbit, but IMO his character wasn't really needed.
*shrugs* Wrong place, wrong time. If he were just Rancor bait I think people would have liked him better.

although it makes more sense that the commando was Aria
Yeah, someone pointed that out couple of pages back. Still, unless there's explicit confirmation.... SPECULATION!

Okay.

LOL! Love how our Sheps are protective of Liara (All Sheps of course). Kayla tends to use colorful metophors when enemies come to close to Liara. She'll need to work on that if they have kids.......would not be good for babies first word to be something she picked up from her Father.
As my vocabulary has spilled into my Shep's(and she did grow up on Navy vessels, and
everyone knows sailors swear, right?) somewhat, Liara would certainly have much need for the mouth soap and duct tape to prevent young Medea's ears and vocabulary to be irreversibly tainted. But I'm pretty good at not swearing when there are kids around, srs.

After hearing Wreav's speech (he wants Australia), I don't see a problem betraying the Krogans. Just make sure that the cure is destroyed in ME2, so you can have two kick ass Salarians. [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/cool.png[/smilie]
Aww, c'mon. The idea of salties ruling Australia must certainly interest you in some small way? Giant bipedal crocodiles? Talking, crocodiles? Headbutting crocodiles?

I don't see aliens joining the alliance. I don't see it working that way. Sure they're united now but why would you fill the alliance with, say, turians and asari? If needed they can mount a joint military operation. I also see problems when it comes to injuries. Turians need to be treated differently than humans, if you had turians and humans mixed up in the alliance, you'd need different medicines for both, different food, different treatment, etc. It's just
not an economically sound move.
Alliance only in name then?

Well, there's that, but battlefield dressings of medi-gel were meant to be universal, or so I thought until ME 3 went all technical on us. But given the similarities between asari and human physiology and DNA, I'm reasonably sure asari would have no trouble in the Alliance. And given Shepard's contributions, no one would dare say no to Shepard's daughter signing up. I just hope she won't. Not many parents who have seen war want their children to follow in their footsteps.

I could see an Asari who was born on a
human world with a human parent wanting to serve in the Alliance. I'd
also expect to see some exchange officers around - all the various armed
forces have different strengths and thus can benefit from learning from
each other.
In a galaxy without relays, things might change
around more. I could see quite a few of the Asari and Salarians
involved in the final battle choosing to join up with the Alliance
rather than have to make the long journey home. Maybe the Asari even
form their own little city state on Earth.
edit: I think Liara
would prefer her daughter found her own path. Being a soldier as
Shepard's daughter would be a lot to live up to.
Yeah, consults, or whatever they call those expensive military holidays these days. Salarians can get the equatorial regions too, nice and humid for them.
But what I wanted to add, you've already said. Whatever their daughter chooses, I guess her parents will be proud of her, as you do. But they'd be secretly hoping it won't be a soldier that she chooses to be.
