You ARE in PETA. Just saying...

I mean I am too but even so... :P

I got a Krogan Vanguard I'm dying to try out.

Geth infiltrator. ^_^

Come by the group page, our very own special edition is now out! All credit to Pineapple. Who has been tarred with an omni tool brush.

Yeah, I just saw it. Is good.

Right now I'm just toying around with fanfic ideas. I've got a very rough idea for a few things I want to do for the lead into ME2 (again packing things in just around the events we see, nothing too "extra"). And I'm working on the post-virmire stuff. I need to finish that entire section sometime soon (the lockdown and run to Ilos) but I want to get the fanfic bit I'm working on atm done before that.

While playing ME, i reached the dialog where Liara tells about the asari lifespan and Shep saying about the human's lifespan. he/she says that human's, if they are lucky, they could reach the 150 years old, so averaging, the normal human lifespan goes around the 120- 130 years old.

Shepard was born in 2154 CE, in 2186 CE shep is 32 years old, which means that he/she has approximately 80 years left to be with Liara. So we can see that it's a long time to be with Liara in shepard's eyes, but not so much in asari time sort of speak. But there's an element that could expand it to a lot more time, Shepard was brought back to life.

According to recent mother cell research, new organs made from them doesn't have the same age as the originals, but they are fully grown, so it means that it can last a lot more than the original organs. If we consider that the technology that cerberus used to bring shep alive was similar to the mother cell technology, it could mean that shepard is practically a new human being with the only difference that shep has his/her memories. So he/she could live even more, passing the 150 years barrier.

Another thing to consider is that the cybernetinc implants are not intrusive according to Dr. Chakwas, but the thing is that they could extend shepard age even more, how long? Honestly i don't know, the only crazy thing is that they could keep him/her alive forever, but it's just a totally wild and crazy idea.

The same thought had crossed my mind.. she might be the only human with an Asari lifespan! :)

(I admit I am surprised that human biotech is so primitive given how many years have passed between now and 2186) :)

Oh, and here's the Liara/Palaven vid for those that wanted it.

I pretty much have the whole mission minus a few bits of combat....there's still some combat/me dying in there so skip that.

Here's the end bit

Thanks, not woth loosing Garrus over but still, damn you have to take Vega instead of Liara Image IPB

Watched only the last few minutes so far, but the short Thessia convo with Liara alone is almost tempting enough to ditch Garrus in my next PT :P

Yeah, it's really cute how Shepard consoles her, though Shepard doesn't sound so sure herself.

Here's a drawimg i made of Liara and Shepard's daughter, she's called Benezia shepard and she's the first Alliance asari and N7 operative.

brunstad.deviantart.com/#/d4vxzgv

Benezia seems to be a popular "blue baby" name ^_^

coloring...maybe like Liara's "from the ashes" outfit?

Thanks, i'll have in mind, i was thinking some parts of the armor to be yellow, but i don't know.

Yeah, i think Benezia it's a very popular name for a "blue baby" as well, it's the perfect honor to the mother of the most beautiful character in the ME franchise and possibly more. Image IPB

I know, i mean, if they have extensive genetic alteration, how come they can't alter it a little more to have a lot more years to live? At the very least, the military should have that kind of tech.

Do we even know for sure if Jacob and Kasumi ever hooked up?  I have Shep(s) that moved on from the VS not because of new imporved models of Tali/Garrus, but because of how they acted towards Shepard.

No, they never did.  Sure, Kasumi stalked him, but dog gonnit, she was the most adorable stalker ever!  It was a nice dynamic, I thought.  I even wrote two fanfic stories about them, long before the Kasumi/Jacob ship was sunk. :(

I wasn't implying that Horizon ruined the relationship, I'm implying that some people took a LI in ME1, but the instant their real LI was avaiable, I'm looking at you, Tali and Garrus, they dropped the ME1 LI like a bad habit.  That's what I'm saying.

I'll say this again.  Anyone that cheats on Liara has a tool Shepard.  And yes, I do have one.  Too bad I can't import that file.  She did break it off with Garrus.  Because it is what Liara wanted.  Now if we can only get the patch  for Xbox so I can import without redoing faces.

Seriously, against my better judgment, I saw what happens when you turn down Liara after SB, before Cronos Station, and in London and I felt like I just kicked a puppy because all it wanted to do was offer me unconditional love.  :(

No way would I ever turn Liara down.  Even if Liara isn't that Shep's LI, I'd still allow her to give me the gift.

I know many wanted the ME1 LI back in 2, but I was willing to be patient about it.  I knew remaining faithful would turn out well in ME3.  And it did.  But for me, I found it very easy to move on from the VS because of Horizon.  Liara might have been cold to Shepard on Illium, but at least she gives you a kiss.  With the VS you got a hug.

I finished the non-import run.  Meh.  I know they say you should do one, but meh.  Rather have the full experience than a gimped one.

Friendship zone with Liara's gift.

I expect it's one or more of a bunch of things, including: devs not aware that life extension is a near-term thing... or they felt that their audience wouldn't understand or be able to relate.. or even for plot reasons, all of which are valid reasons.

Krogan Vanguard

Way to slow. Making vanguard charge too slow is quite a feat though. As for head-butting brutes, keep in mind that they can perma-kill in melee.

Geth (Hunter mode) doesn't seem to popular either

Pff...I also melee Banshees with my Asari Adept. Headbutting Brutes is way further down in terms of "risk". :P

I tried to melee a brute in SP last night.  Insto death.  Picked me up, body slammed femShep.  Never trying that again and the brute was down to 2 bars.

Is getting late and I don't think I'm going to get any more fic writing done tonight. Although I've managed to come up with a good idea of where I'm going with my current scene and will need to start moving onto the Citadel stuff soon I think.

I think I'm going to get to sleep a little early and get a good night. It seems much more conductive to the Mass Effect dreams I've been having. Maybe more inspiration!

Blue dreams everyone.

Krogan Vanguard is slow? I just wasted 99k credits.

I thought he was epic, with charge and the biotic version of tech armour. But I realise the cooldown times will play merry hell with me trying to use any abilities.

About the omni tool jokes.. Maro, our resident perv/prude (depends on the hat), can fill you in on that.
