Well, hopefully it's because they're doing a lot with it.  Getting voice actors back in, doing a whole bunch of cool cinematics that take into account of your choices.

It takes a while to animate & do FMV... and if they're doing it, getting voice actors back in the studio takes even longer.

Are you asking how to turn Shep's helmet off in conversations? In the main menu go to extras --> options --> narrative and then switch Shepard's Helmet from "default" to "off in conversations" 

I don't really like those non-customisable armor sets myself, they all look ugly imo.

Is it just me, or does this figure look nothing like Liara? I'm particularly thinking of the face. It is too young and 'thin' compared to Liara in the game. Also the breasts seem overly big in the figure compared to the in-game model. They are almost matriarch-ish in size on that figure 

Also the cleavage exposure in the figure is just so out-of-character of Liara. She would NEVER do anything like that in a compat situation (at least, that is my understanding).

That's the animefied version of Liara issued by Kotobukiya in collaboration with Bioware. That's why her face looks so different and all. The breast size already got reduced after fan complaints that they were too big in the first place. 
The difference in style is actually intended as it is the anime style version of Liara!

Not a fan of crossing the streams, generally speaking. One or two of the manga star wars look alright, but... Liara, anime? Nah, no thanks.

But this has been around for ages, hasn't it? Didn't they announce a FemShep one too? Combat heels and everything. Nope, no objectifying going on here.

edit : err, not the greatest totp... I'll try to fix this.

Kinda gorram hard to find a nice pic of Liara smiling. What does MegaMan, DoA, and KoF have to do with Liara?

Yeah I play biotic classes so not having Liara totally sucks the momentum out of my play styles, frack "No Shepard without Vakarian" the reality is there's no "Shepard without T'Soni".

Shepard just said that to make Garrus feel better when she beat him at sharpshooting.
