Well, yes; however, I suspect that it's not the question you want answered.Edit: does anyone know how to post pictures saved driectly on the computer? i can only make it work with pictures placed on the internet.

You'll have to install some kind of web server (stay away from IIS; Apache is probably your best bet if a bit overkill). You'll then have to configure the web server, register a domain (either by obtaining a static IP address, or by dynamic DNS trickery), and configure your router appropriately. Depending on traffic you might also have to obtain (significantly more expensive) symmetric DSL.

Not a fan of crossing the streams, generally speaking. One or two of the manga star wars look alright, but... Liara, anime? Nah, no thanks.
But this has been around for ages, hasn't it? Didn't they announce a FemShep one too? Combat heels and everything. Nope, no objectifying going on here.

Ah I guess it comes down to a question of taste. I don't mind the animefied version of Liara. It's...different, but IMHO not bad. It could be worse to be honest. Just imagine even bigger eyes, watermelon boobs and some weird sexified position.
But maybe I'm just hardened as I've seen fanart that is worse than this
And I think I might prefer the anime figurine that does not look at all like Liara but isn't even trying to begin with than an action figure that is trying too hard and doesn't look like Liara either. Good figurines that actually look like the character are sadly way too expensive. These people here usually do a good job... Figures but you certainly pay a hefty sum! Although...if they ever get a Liara figure done....I'll be the first to sign up for delivery!!

So I guess in other words that means that anybody who wants to post his or her own screenies/other pics, should simply sign up to photobucket or to a similar image hosting site, right?

On that topic, if I had the money, I would have commissioned that massive space marine statue, for Dawn of War. Get it done in Blood Angel colours though.
Wasn't there a life size Liara.. erm.. paper/cardboard thing going about? The only trouble with the little figures is that they so often fail to get the features right. Also, they'll never be able to recreate the texture of Liara's skin....... :innocent:

General question: what programs do you use for rendering and texturing the model files from the game? It looks pretty fancy and I would be interested in giving it a try. Sooooo, any recommendations?

Now I've passed Priority: Citadel II and received a bunch of e-mails from all possible paramour candidates - except Liara!
Can i still woo her or will I have to move on to someone else (Traynor, Allers...)
I haven't invited Traynor up yet, nor an interview w/ Allers cause I want to get Liara but I don't want to loose a relationship option by chasing Liara for nothing if I have missed the boot with her.
Thanks

Yeah, well they already reduced the size from the original.WaterWar wrote...
Also the breasts seem overly big in the figure compared to the in-game model. They are almost matriarch-ish in size on that figure. Also the cleavage exposure in the figure is just so out-of-character of Liara. She would NEVER do anything like that in a compat situation (at least, that is my understanding).

I find the very notion of asari leather to be quite disturbing.

Personally I'm using 3DStudio MAX for the posing / modeling / texturing / lighting part and an external renderer.Erenbe wrote...

Liara's lock-in conversation is the one on the Citadel IIRC. So you have to talk to her there.
I actually think it is before Tuchanka either right after Sur'kesh or when you have done either the Rachni or Tuchanka Bomb mission. I seem to recall that i saved it to after the rachni mission right before the Turchanka priority mission.FdL_Ananas wrote...

After the Cerberus coup attempt, do 1 mission. Talking to the quarians will work. Liara will send you a message that she wants to take a break from work on the Citadel. Talk to her after that message is when you lock her romance in. Unless you locked in with Traynor. Her game night message is right after the coup.DZ8082 wrote...
Mmm, I remember talking to her directly after Priority: Citadel II, but it was just one of those "hey, Shep!" type conversations, one w/o the dialog wheel.
Hope I haven't missed out on it. Too many options I'm losing track!
Any help is welcomed.

Looks like you get Liara's message after Sur'kesh + one mission. N7 mission seems to work as well.
