Pretty much.  I like the idea that Shepard can just be a human around Liara.  More than that, can actually respect her, be amazed by her, and dote on her in a way that we'll just never see in a game where Shepard is this war hero.

But some more delicate scenes where Shepard simply relaxed and showed his or her love and admiration for Liara would have been nice.  
While my Shepard always saw Liara as the personification of everything he was fighting for she was also the only one for whom he did not feel he had to be "Commander Shepard" but could just really would open up and be himself and simply appreciate her for who she is.

This! Liara is really the only person asking Shep how she feels about the entire situation. For example in ME2 after LotSB. She gives her the option to let go and be human for a while. This is one of the things that makes her the best romance option in the game....well...and the best character

They are still flexible.  Plus, her helmet is extended a bit in the back.

Phew, this is hard work. I managed to concentrate on the fanfic stuff now that everyone has stopped tweeting me and I'm up to more than 3200 words for this part now. I'm debating whether or not to add one more short section in before I'm done here. I quite like where this currently finishes to be perfectly honest and I'm not sure whether or not the other scene I'm toying with will be a good idea or not.

Maybe I'll grab someone to bounce ideas off or something.

Yeah, but it still looks a bit cramped and uncomfortable ... But IDK, maybe asari actually even like it in some sort of "pressure massage" way

Its tempting, but I really don't like going totally public with any ideas or work until I've actually done it. I don't like posting "works in progress" if you see what I mean.

Also, my eyes hurt having been staring at a word document for so long.
