How is Vasir's "look in the mirror" argument valid? She calls out Shepard for working with a terrorist organization, but look at what she's done. She bombed an entire office building, shot her way through a hotel, and took a helpless waitress hostage to save her own skin. Shepard can justify his/her involvement with Cerberus. The collectors are abducting tens of thousands of colonists and grinding them into paste, and Cerberus are the only people who aren't shrugging their shoulders and saying it's not their job to protect them. Can Vasir say the same?

I agree but to Vasir it may be that she just see's Shep as working with a shady organization to achieve his own goals like she did, and in her mind she was repaying a favor she owed the SB.  I'm just trying to play devils advocate IMO Vasir can suck it

It's established that prothean can be at least partially translated. It's what Liara was doing while she was in the Mars Archive. It's a poor substitute for someone with the Cipher, but they make do. You're right about the reapers, though. It's a significant plot hole.

Also, it's implied that the asari are controlling the flow of information they receive from the beacon, pacing themselves so that they are capable of making major scientific breakthroughs consistently over long intervals of time. This way, they remain on the bleeding edge of technological advancement and gain an advantage over the other races.

Actually it hasn't been established that anyone but Shepard can translate a beacon because the beacons transmit memories so the Asari would get pictures and blueprints that they could work from just like every other race did from the Protheans but most of the info on the beacon would be nonsense to them, that's why the Asari Councilor wasn't sure if it could actually help Shepard find the info on the Catalyst. The Mars Archives and Liara's translating are a completely different source of information, those were computers full of documents on the Protheans "observations" of early humans not beacons, if the Asari had something like that hidden in the Temple of Athame it would be a different discussion. Remember, even Javik tells us that the beacons were their form of communication and that they transmit memories so the Asari could take things like blueprints and such from those memories and  then work on translating those to something they can work with but most of the info on that beacon would not be decipherable by the Asari because they don't speak Prothean. If they could Liara would have easily been able to understand that first damaged message from that damaged computer or VI they encountered on Ilos before getting into the bunker and to Vigil, and she couldn't, she also couldn't understand any of the images Cerberus recovered on Eden Prime that Shepard used to free Javik. Being able to make some sense out of a blueprint or an image of a printed document does not make them able to understand the spoken language or a memory.

I was kind of sympathetic to Vasir because my Shepard was one who wanted to get things done. When the Illusive man made it clear that "okay, we're the only ones doing something about the bad guys!" I'm like just point me to the right decisions but that doesn't mean they were friends. If there was an option to let her go, I would have...

but I will punch her first for trying to mess with Liara! <_<

Don't
forget about the various squad dialogue/comments over the series that
heavily implies that Shep and Liara have sex quite often, and everyone
knows about it.

Like Wrex saying Liara got a window because she a better kisser.  LMAO @ Wrex.  I love Shep's comment of "No comment".

Paragon:  No comment.
Renegade: Prove it, Wrex.  Kiss me, you fool!

:OSound like Bastila : Now shut up and kiss me you fool !

Would you like Liara as much if she was Green?

Yes, but she'd look like a cabbage.

Well, a very sexy cabbage.
Which might make a contribution to world health by making people want to eat cabbage.

How is Vasir's "look in the mirror" argument valid? She calls out Shepard for working with a terrorist organization, but look at what she's done. She bombed an entire office building, shot her way through a hotel, and took a helpless waitress hostage to save her own skin.

Simple. Cerberus is evil - too be fair, this was quite a subtle point in ME3 which is easy to miss. Vasir did some bad things (nominally) working for the greater good/Council interests - exactly the kind of thing renegade!Shep would have done.

Maybe it's because the Cerberus railroading in ME2, but Shepard's actions are out of line. There is any number of things Shepard could have done to stop the Collectors without siding with Cerberus (shooting Jacob and Miranda on Lazarus station comes to mind - they even taunt you by saying that there's just one shuttle off the station...), yet Shepard just takes TIM word for it and does his bidding until the very last moment of the very last mission.

Just because the player has no control over these decisions (not shooting Jacob on sight, not shooting Miranda on sight, not hijacking the Normandy SR2, etc) doesn't make acceptable. Shepard even gets reinstated as a Spectre to hunt the Collectors so all Shepard needs is a ship and some guys. To fight a contrived landwar in Asia.

Tela V'asir is easily the best boss fight in the entire trilogy - she actually feels like an equal to Shepard - something Captain Crunch can only dream of - and has some good taunts for him while she's fighting him. Not to mention she's a fun, challenging fight, with the way she zips around the battlefield and is actually just as aggressive as Shepard can be. Even outside of the fight, she maintains her strength - she actually gets a shot in on Shepard so good, he really doesn't have a good response to her - when she's dying and she calls Shepard out for being a hypocrite with Cerberus, and Shepard just has a weak response. Really, she was a great character. I personally would've loved if she survived LotSB to be the rival antagonist in ME3 instead of Lucky Charms.

Tela Vasir was a cancerous growth on an otherwise fun DLC.

How so? She had actual character and motivation. Compared to TIM who was lolindoctrinated and Kai Leng who was a cardbord cutout villain sue with a sword.

Wow, really?!
And what's about cerberus have revived you, also you're not working for cerberus. You're working with them.
Edit:And you won't have normandy if you'll shoot jacob and miranda, it'll take some time before you find right people.
Edit2:I also think that Council won't give you anything, they'd say that this is Saren influence i think :P
