I hear you, and that's perfect way to sum up Liara. (I am so sorry if this formats strangely.)recentio wrote...
So, for me, Liara's story was so good, so emotionally compelling, that I couldn't resist having Shep fall for her. She is a lovely blend of deadly business and gentle concerns.

The relationship does seem to shine through even in an unromanced Liara in LotSB. I was so sure Shepard would be a single hero, but as the story played out, she convinced me that I was mistaken.
Me: "Okay, Shep you're flying solo as an infiltrator."
Shep: "Sounds like a plan. I'm on it."
<after much BAMF cloaked sniping, LotSB begins>
Shep: "About that 'flying solo' business...see that girl there?"
Me: "The one you keep chasing and yelling about? Yeah."
Shep: "She's pretty d*** gorgeous and amazing."
Me: "...well, I suppose since you feel that strongly... Yeah, you are pretty hot together."
Shep: "Yes, we are."
Haha, Liara stole my Shepard too, I was just along for the ride. I really love the way it worked out too. I think it's for the best that Vega wasn't a romance option in my case, because I would have (selfishly) gone with that because *I* thought he was hot, with little to no regard for what my Shep was trying to tell me since LotSB.

Edit: I took this after the Ardat-Yakshi Monastery mission in case you were wondering where it occurs.

Her skin is essentially scaled. I think many Asari/Liara fans would like to think Asari have perfect silky smooth skin just like Quarian/Tali fans would like to think of them as perfect purple night elves, but I think there's an effort made to show that's not true. From the texture, it's very likely an Asari's skin feels more like a snake does, after it's warmed itself - since Asari are not cold blooded.
I really do think that makes them more their own characters - and more alien - than if they were just idealized blue women.

You know, that screenshot shows off something else I appreciated about ME3, with its' higher res models - there's an effort made to make Liara and the Asari even more "alien"-like, and to make them different still from just being blue women with tentacles on their head. In ME1 and ME2 Asari may just as well be blue women from looks alone, but look at the ME3 model...

It was already noticable in LOTSB that Liara's skin was more scale like. I like that Bioware decided to make that small difference between asari and humans.
And after seeing this...

How can you not like Liara's skin?

That's how I see her skin and actually I never thought it would be smooth but more like our skin.

changing the camera angle around during cutscenes, anyway?
I've seen something similar done to rotate the camera angle during the
scene on Rannoch where Tali takes off her mask, to rotate it so you can
see what she does, and it's pretty interesting to see the tricks the
devs used. (Tali doesn't actually take off her mask, for instance, she
just spawns one in her hand and her face stays the same)

You use a program to edit ME3 coal file then you can use "flycam" during cutscenes. Google
Use Autodesk 3ds Max and Actor X Importer, you can google around to find tutorialsAristobulus500 wrote...

It's called the "fly cam". Never played around with that myself, so you have to ask other people how it works exactly .

Oh I can't even imagine if Mass Effect would be redone with no money- or timelimits. I wonder how video games will be in the year 2100, will they continue to grow to the direction of fast-paced shooters with 34 different DLC's? (Not pointing at ME3, just how all games seem to be today).

@Arcataye the dlc is the real problem, not is necessery made dlc for give good story,
why not put all story element in the game base,
if BiOWare dacide to not realize story dlc, and put all element in 30 gb ( like SWTOR) you come to take the next ME4 ?
