@Ruby, you have DA3, but for me ME is the best, bacause i love sci-fi, i love Liara, i'm not like Fantasy.

@Arcataye the dlc is the real problem, not is necessery made dlc for give good story,

why not put all story element in the game base,

if BiOWare dacide to not realize story dlc, and put all element in 30 gb ( like SWTOR)  you come to take the next ME4 ?

The fact that SWTOR is so large has not stopped them from releasing new content and it certainly will not stop the release of expansion packs, it's a cash cow MMO they'd be crazy to never release new content for it and unfortunately since the popularity of Xbox Live DLC has become the standard for almost every game and personally I like DLC because w/ games like ME it keeps the game from getting too repetitive for me during the time they release DLC because I replay my RPG's like crazy.

The Mars Archives and Liara's translating are a completely different source of information, those were computers full of documents on the Protheans "observations" of early humans not beacons, if the Asari had something like that hidden in the Temple of Athame it would be a different discussion.

I imagine the asari gov't had access to various Prothean documents that their scientists uncovered over the years.  That could help them piece together the Prothean memories and 'blueprints', as you say.

It's a possibility that can't be ruled out but since they only show the Asari having the beacon and the VI that is activated out of it, it's speculation to say that Asari had access to info in the same way the Alliance did, especially if trying to place a larger share of the blame on the Asari for how unprepared the galaxy is. We don't know that they had access to anything that had the blueprints for the Crucible (or any more info on the Reapers like what was on the beacon on Eden Prime) but we know the Alliance did and that they appeared to have not put much effort into exploring the Archives once they learned to use mass effect technology from it and discovered the relay.

@speedy111280 , for me is most simple release each 2 or 3 years only one title like ME,

one full geme avry 2 or 3 years, in 20 or 30 gb, for give to the player the maxumin experience,

all mission, all storyline element, all charecter, put all in the game base, and not in some dlc.

I prefer wait for 2 or 3 years for one complete.

For most games the wait to get all the content on one disk would be far longer than 2-3 years. ME3 came out just over 2 years after ME2 originally was released. Console games generally don't do complete for most titles any more because the developers can make money on DLC and PC games have been doing it for years only they called them "expansion packs" and honestly I don't think I could have waited any longer to play ME3. The original ME was why I bought my 360 and I've been hooked on ME and Liara ever since, waiting any longer to play 3 and see Liara again with new content would have been torture for me. I'd gladly take DLC over a game I have change disks multiple times because a game that 20-30 gb in size would take several disks and the 2 disks for ME3 already requires changing the disk too many times.

Idk, I'd have a face exactly like Liara's if that happens in the "clarification" DLC.

I don't either.  But to be honest?  They should.  And I'm not just saying that because "Oh happy blue babies and sunshine and rainbows and crap"  This is the end of Shepard's story.  The very last time that Shepard will appear in a game.  Why the hell shouldn't they be able to give her/him a decent sendoff?  Not some "Oh wow, did Shepard take a breath?!?  Yay!  Shepard lived!!!" crap, either.  Because that sort of thing only flies if there's even the possibility that the character will be used again.  But if this is really it, if this is the last time we're going to have a chance to see our Shepards in all their 3D glory, I want a freaking happy ending.  Chop off a limb if you really need some level of sacrifice to feel "fulfilled."  But for frak's sake, give us SOMETHING...

It really is the mark of a bad writer if it's supposed that the only way to end a character's story is for them to die. I am okay with Shepard dying in some endings, but not every ending. A perfect playthrough should give you a happy Star Wars-esque triumphant ending, because ME is a space opera. Not a Shakespearean tragedy.

A perfect playthrough should get Shepard retiring, and that's the end of his story. You can have an epilogue that gives him a sendoff, but he doesn't have to die to not be used in any more games.

I mean, after ME3, if the galaxy was still intact and such, and some new threat arises - just have it be that Shepard is done. He's flown under the radar with his LI and isn't around to save things anymore, leave it to some new protagonist.

Which ironically is what Shepard can say to Garrus at the Forward Operating Base, that Shepard's days of saving the galaxy are all over after this fight. Though for BioWare that evidently meant being taken out behind the citadel to get killed with the plot axe in the most pathetic way possible. Which I'm sure they'd counter with "Blah Blah Art Blah Blah Shepard is our character Blah Blah!"

Yeah well we're the ones that care about Shepard not you BioWare.

Which is pretty funny, considering how heavily they marketed ME as not being their story, but actually being the player's story. There were literally ads that said "THIS IS YOUR STORY".

Well it's the player's story until Shepard goes to sleep then it's BioWare's really stupid story and at the end when it's BioWare's coffin that they lock the player in and throw off a space cliff.

In space.

Lovely, loyal Liara. Besides, she's the only one that does the impossible to find you, challenging odds, facing mercenaries, SB's agents and even cooperating with Cerberus. She's too awesome. <3

I've been thinking of a possible scene after the ending, that's avaiable in Control, where Shepard has 'ascended' to a higher form of existence, and now controls the Old Machines. So, Liars goes to sleep on this tropical planet, but as she's mentioned in ME1 "The union is a bond that transcends both time and space, even after they're death, a part of our partner still lives in us" or something along those lines. So, she would talk to Shepard in her dream, their conversation will be saddening but a revelation would be made when Shepard says "By controlling the Reapers I've become both master and servant... Master of the Reapers, but servant of the pattern... The cycle will continue and the Reapers will be back in 50,000, stronger than ever" cool, eh? :P
