Actually she clearly states that she doesn't like it when she has to lean on Shep's shoulder.
She came a long way since ME1 and I think she actually does want to be equals with Shepard.
And she actually wanted to become the SB she says so herself.
The fact that it was the logical thing to do just goes hand in hand with it.
What?
Can you prove that her motives in becoming the Shadow Broker involved becoming an 'equal' to Shepard?
I've read some funny things in my days of being a Liara fan but this takes the cake.
I heard far worse things. And from myself that is.
So uh ... Tali's sweat anyone?

Indeed they do, and that's why we love them and Liara because they made her happenFiddles_stix wrote...
So Liara... she's blue...
I really like the look she has here. To me she looks torn between duty and love and to convey that in a frame, well BioWare have some great people working for them.

I must say this is one of, if not the best fanart I've seen of Liara. It really captures a lot of nice details. I can imagine how Liara is at work as the Shadowbroker fiddeling with all these little screens and as the stress gets higher and higher, she pulls in one screen she always keeps open in the background and stares at it with a longing look on her face. Then as her heart calms down again she puts the image aside again and continues her work.
Very well done.
PS: I don't see Shepard cheating on her there. He is sitting alone in his room, thinking about all of his problems with the Reapers, Cerberus, the Citadel, etc. and while he does so he feels lonely himself, because of the little help he is getting in his struggle against the unavoidable arrival of the Reapers
As I said, great picture that really sparks the imagination. Great job.

I don't think I've ever actually read any fanfiction. The only one which comes close to it was a short satirical piece (about a page long) about DA2's reused environments.
So should I start? And if yes, any good ones I could start with?
That is why I wait to post my stories until I'm almost done with it. That way you don't have to wait, you know you will get another chapter next week.IndigoWolfe wrote...

It never hurts to give it a shot. FanFiction.net has a wealth of Mass Effect (and Dragon Age, if you like) fanfiction. It allows you to filter based on the characters that you want to see (up to 2) and also filter by story type.
There are also plenty of people in these forums who've written stuff, and usually will link to it in their signatures.
Bear in mind, though, that FF.net just recently began to differentiate between Male and Female Shepard stories, and by default they were all set to Female Shepard if they were previously tagged for "Shepard". So your resultsmay bewill be skewed when searching for one or the other.
TheMarshal has some very good stories. That is where I started anyway. Then I just did a search for Liara/Shep and went from there. Some are good. Some are meh. Then I got inspired to put the stories in my head down on paper(computer) and posted them.alex90c wrote...

So like, how do I keep away from the
creepy stuff on sites like that? I mean I'm almost certain there's
people describing explicit sex scenes which, to be honest that's the
kind of stuff I don't really care for.

But then I don't work and just stay home reading, writing, or playing Mass Effect. Is that a bad thing?
I did noticed that ff.net changed Shepard to F and M, but I didn't know they defaulted it to femShep. That is a win right there.
