I have my failShep ready to roll when ME3 is released. She got everyone aside fromthe DLC squadmates killed. And did not bother do any loyalty mission (asside from Zaeed's) or Arrival, LOTSB or Overlord!

Because if you brought LOTSB, you will always play it. It is just THAT good.

That is the only DLC worth playing 20+ times.  And the only one I have done all my playthroughs.

Well, I can't really do it, but apart of me wants my Femshep to play no part in LOTSB, mostly because I want to see how the relationship continues if Liara's office was the last time they talked. Where things aren't really established between them, romance wise.

I still might be able to get a similar situation. I had my renegon screw up the date in the cabin, and then did the picture scene right after. That way, there's still some unknowns between them. But the relationship is still flagged, so things should be interesting.

I always did the actual misson to go after the Shadow Broker before the suicide mission.  Even the playthrough were I went with Garrus, I never saw Liara reaction on the balcony.  I went with remain friends on that play through and she wished us happiness in the cabin.  I always did the cabin scene after the SM.  Weird I know. 

I just did another playthrough that I finished ealier today.  I have not done LotSB.  I once again am using a Shepard that is with Liara, but romanced Garrus.  (I know, I know bad Shep bad.)  I want see how that plays out because I never got Liara's reaction on the balcony.  BTW, this is not my canon Shep.  Canon Shep is faithful.

I don't think I can do a playthrough without playing LotSB.  Unless I remove it from my HHD and put it on a flash drive.

Wasn't there a tweet or something about this saying the interactive comic or whatever they're having at the start to introduce new players will feature LotSB. So all anyone would be doing would be to deprive themselves of time with Liara... that doesn't seem healthy for some reason

I still don't even know what's that about. I've heard it's suppose to go through all your choices from ME1 to ME2, until you reach LOTSB or Arrival. I don't think they'll be stopping a 20 minute show, just for you to make a "continue relationshp" choice, if you could just be a friend to begin with. Or went with a ME2 LI.

If they are doing it like that, and making Shepard's involvement canon, then I think they might make "friendship' as the canon choice, leaving ME3 to confirm things.

Plus LotSB is really fun gameplay wise. Was I the only one that used the lightning rod things to zap the squaddies? I imagined it being Shepard's idea of a practical joke. "Haha gave you a serious electric shock! That'll teach you for shooting me in the back throughout ME1"

Anyways, I more of just want to keep my two playthroughs different. I don't want to experience the same relationship, except with a change in main characters. If possibly, I want the relationships to be very different, so I can experience different side of things for different playthroughs.

I'm not entirely sure but from what a mate told me, the comic in the PS3 version starts automatically from a new game. If they use the  PS3 as a jumping-off point it could be good. Although I am curious to see how romanced Liara is different from friendship Liara.

There isn't much difference actually.   If you use Genesis, Liara will be the one at the beginning of the game instead of Ash/Kaidan.  The comic kicks in after the Normandy is blown up and Shepard is spaced.  You don't get a kiss from Liara when you meet up with her on Illium.  If you didn't romance her, the paragon interuptions are slightly different in dialogue.  You can still give her a hug after beating the Shadow Broker, but that is it.  Your just friends.  Not all my Shepards romanced Liara.  The cabin scene has slightly different dialogue as well.  If you do it after the SM and romanced someone, she will ask what are you fighting for and the middle option is in resonse to your romance and she wishes you and LI happiness.  Same thing if you break it off with her.

Liara will stay beautiful and will continue to gain strength for centuries. Shepard will become older and weaker They're going in two different directions. Shepard would have to deal with the fact; Liara is going watch Shepard slowly fade into becoming weak, old, and ugly.

I feel incredibly guilty/uneasy about this. Does anyone else? I don't care if she moves on. I would want her to be happy after my death, but putting her through my twilight years? I don't know, I just feel guilty about that part. Like I would be a burden on her.

When I've thought of this, at least after ME2, I've always come to the conclusion that there is no reason for Shepard to age.  Shepard was extremely dead, grotesquely and very thoroughly so.  The Lazarus Project required that a lump of frozen, charred meat and splintered bone be turned into a living person.  They used cloned parts, nanotech, cybernetics, and medigel in bulk.  Somewhat amusingly, Shepard is like a medigel gummi bear with a metal reinforced skeleton.  They're stuffed full of all these systems designed to maintain and support life functions, Shepard is constantly being repaired and maintained by them.

I suppose it would come down to how aggressive the systems supporting Shepard were in maintaining the status quo.  They obviously fix Shepard back to "normal" from battle damage, but is that state of "normal" dynamic in accounting for biological aging or do those systems keep Shepard's rebuilt body at a "normal" that was the end result of the Lazarus Project?  If they can reanimate Shepard from extremely dead it seems pretty trivial to have Shepard always being repaired back to the state their body would have been had they not been woken up early in the Prologue.

As for mental degradation from aging, even precluding the nanotech repairing Shepard back...well Shepard couldn't have been reanimated without something like a greybox and a VI installed anyway.  Even without a training wheel Shepard VI to retrain Shepard's rebuilt brain and nervous system, you're still going to have one with the L5 implants and I'd imagine one to coordinate all the cybernetic systems that are stuffed into every Shepard.  Those can monitor and supplement neural functions, that's established in lore and especially with that whole series of Cerberus Daily News articles about the zombie President.

I really can't think of a reason why Shepard should age given everything that was done in the Lazarus Project.  Allowing for aging doesn't even fall within in the parameters of the Lazarus Project's goals when you consider they just needed Shepard up and about for a relatively short period of time.  Adjusting all those systems to simulate aging in Shepard would be pointless.

This is a race of people who bond with krogan, turians, batarians, hanar...  I doubt a few wrinkles is really going to ruin Liara's perspective of Shepard, particularly after they've had a lifetime together.

Most likely cured by modern day medical science. The codex states modern earth countries have all but eliminated genetic diseases and other afflictions. Also, it seems Cerberus was able to allow Joker to walk where he couldn't in ME1 (most likely because the medical science wasn't there yet). This means in just 2 short years they (humans) invented a solution to the vrolik's syndrome, making it a lot less crippling. Further demonstrating the speed at which human medical science evolves.

I think, and this is just my perception of future medical science, humans will hardly age at all on the outside, with genetic therapy to make their skins look young, medication/more gene therapy to keep their joints and bones strong so their movement abilities aren't lessened over the years. After a while internal organs are going to fail but this can also be stalled by cybernetics and implants so the whole 'aging' that today's humans are going through, I think it's completely gone by the time ME takes place.

I wouldn't worry about the dialogue/squad banter if I were you. The DA2 team managed to give DA2's squadmembers some amazing (and most of the time incredibly funny) banter. If the DA2 team managed it, I don't see why the ME3 team couldn't do the same. 

We've already been promised more squad banter so I guess I'll have to switch out the 2nd party member (since Liara will always be in my team) in order to hear most of the dialogue. I'm especially interested in dialogue between Liara and ME1 squadmembers, since she doesn't really know any ME2 squaddies I doubt they'll have much to talk about.

Do BDTS and ask for light armor at the end of the quest?

Or just activate command console and give yourself the colossus armor.
