Yeah, the protheans fought the Reapers for a hundred years (or was it several?). Just one ship escaping somewhere far away, find a planet to live on (like the one they crashed on in Bioware's ending). How long would've they lived? I'd guess over a human lifetime. That would've been selfish but yeah.

Liara even predicted the ship getting lost somewhere.

Jesus, everytime I hear Liara say this, I feel like it was one of the most epic trollings anyone has ever done.... Honestly, I feel like I can step away from most of the problems the ending introduces (Starkid, contradicting themes... etc.). But, the forced Lost/Gilligan's Island BS broke the camel's back for me. So, not only does the Shepard character effectively get derailed and more than likely killed off, you have to screw with the LI's as well and strand them on what appears to an uninhabited planet with limited food and medical supplies. For Christ's sake, these people are probably not equiped to react to this situation at all. They're even more dependant on technology than we are presently. Does BW honestly expect us to believe that the Normandy crew is going to have the skills to go all "Oregan Trail" on us?  I just.... I don't even....

Like maybe she asks you to meet her at a location, and you discover her in a moody restaurant, with her dressed in her LOTSB dress. You sit down and talk, and then get up, and do a slow dance with the band.

I always wanted something like that. Or a dance like that in Shepard's cabin. I always felt Liara's romance was very much like a film noir romance, which is why I thought of it.

99% of that sounds great. However, I disagree with the dancing. I believe that would effectively ruin the mood....

Well, Casey Hudson has stated in the Final Hours app that he didn't want future stories set after the the events of ME3.

And then Gamble said we should keep our ME3 savegames.
I think at this point, anything can happen, but I will gladly spend more time in ME3.
Omega and Illium, I want to go back there! And give me some funny Aria and Liara dialogues.

I am afraid of what Liara will say when Aria reveals what exactly happend in between Shepard getting drunk in the Purgatory bar and waking up beside Aria.

Aria would be aweseome as a DLC squadmember (Aria/Liara squad <3)...but I guess the other party member would be mostly silent like in LotSB.

Strange that whenever a successfull triology is completed, the creaters always seem to want to do Prequels, when most of the fans seem to want to see sequels.

Personally I would want to play a game set after because Its like a whole new world to explore again... Rebuilding the Galaxy sounds like a long term oppertunity for a game setting that can go on and on. Like an MMO or something.

This happened with Star Wars...The triology prequel is kinda meh.  But the Dark Empire Trilogy and the Heir to the Emperor were tottally awesome..set after Return of the Jedi...but not made by Lucus.

I think if we want to get what we want It needs to come out of Bioware's hands somehow or needs to be years from now down the line, once they get the Prequel bug out of their system.

Shepard can dance.  He/she can horizontal tango with the best of them! ... Have yet to hear any complaints from Liara...

Like I'm thinking of something that would involve Shepard saying "You planned this?"

And Liara says "I've very good at what I do."

Shepard could argue they might not have the time based off what's happening, but the LI could say "This war could be the end of us. If I can only afford one special night, with just us... I want us to have that special night".

I'm a Texas gal, so that 9mm and the pitchfork would probably work best.  But, I hear ya, I'll wait. Still angry, but I'll wait. If finding the Normandy crew or seeing what ultimately happens to them, isn't addressed, I wonder how much nerdrage will happen.... To be honest, I'd be among them. None of these characters deserved what they got and hearing it foreshadowed in the game does not gather sympathy points from me as far as Bioware is concerned.....

Oooh, I don't know if I agree there.  Liara is very analytical, Garrus reacts from the gut a lot of the time - even if he's having to change that in ME3 with all the responsibility.

I'd rather say that Liara is who Shepard goes to if they want a sympathetic shoulder to cry on, while Garrus is who they go to if they want pep talk.

Garrus is definately the bro you would go to the bar with and talk about ladies/make stupid bets/be obnoxious/etc... with.  While Liara... well Liara is the sweet little friend that you just want to hug everytime you see her, and for most of us...well we want to do a bit more than just hug:wub:

Are you talking about LOTSB... of course you are... you are right???  as for a romance pack I'd just like a influence/gift pack that affected all of the squaddies.  extra interactions and all.  I'm not even going to lie about how letdown i was when i saw the gifts in the Sirta terminal and that I could only give them once to the VS.

I liked the whole Thrawn trilogy and the Hand of Thrawn books that Zahn did after.  Goddess just imagine if Zahn and Karpyshian both came back and rewrote ME3 ending or the whole story it would be epic.  Atleast they would allow Weekes and his talented team to work freely.

Talking about sequels or prequels to ME, I really don't know how they'll be able to pull it out. There's not that much history involving humans in the galaxy before Shepard for one and for second there isn't a lot to offer after ME3. Not to mention the fact that they'd have to chose a canon ending for the Shep arc, synthesis being a really dramatic choice for example. On the other hand they're going to make a movie based on the IP and it would seem logical to tie that to a new video game set in this universe, for business purpose.mainly.

I think it is perfect. There's just so much emotion in this video. It gave me goosebumps and depression, they've been through so much but for what ? A breath and a strange planet?

In the BLUE CHILDREN thread somehow in the main spoilers thread, someone posted a comic where 'but at the last second Shepard's friends protected her with a bubble of love and friendship'. That is practically an IceCreamReaper comic and I don't care, I needed some warm and fuzzies.
