Feel free to read mine.  All mine are about femShep and Liara.  And mostly set after ME3.  And written last year, so I was just speculating about things.  Link to my FF.net profile is in my siggy.

In addition, the most imporant piece of advice I can give to anyone is to just write, you can go back and fix it later, that's how you learn.  Never be afraid of critique.  After all, the best artists didn't get to where they were by praises alone.

The "dying by the millions!" line hurts way more and that's the version I got when in a romance. :/ Where's the hug, Bioware?!.....No, seriously, where is it?

Wow. That's even more confusing. So they actually *did* think to make that scene different for Liara romancers...just not in any real significant way. It would've been easier to understand if things were just rushed and they forgot. But this? 

I will say that the romance lines make some sort of sense. Liara is letting herself reveal more of how distraught she is, because of how close she is to Shepard. Shepard, in turn, is more specific about "you'd never do that, Liara" because he knows her better. It's a more focused statement of understanding than the first version.

Still doesn't mean the scene is at all what it should've been.

Bolded for emphasis, I definately agree with you Aristobulus thats almost makes the scene worse.

After reminiscing post shadow broker with my femshep, I'm finally fully onboard with Liara.

That's not to stay I don't love Tali still, but Liara has a special place as well.

Can't believe I initially didn't think much of her in ME1

Now take a Liara loyal Shep through ME3 as well, assuming you took a faithful Shep through LotSB. Her romance is really top notch.

I think it would be great too to work in a setting with people like Sylvia Feketekuty & Patrick Weekes.

Sylvia really brought out parts of Liara that were amazing ... I'd love to see inside her bag of tricks.

People always call me a tool for cheating on Liara but then I realized that it's these imperfections that make Derek and Liara's love so real. I remember how I thought that Derek was over Liara because of how cold she was at first. Consequently, I moved on to Miranda but since LotSB and Mass Effect even after the infidelity... their relationship seemed more real albeit perfection.

What are the imperfections that defined your Shepard/Liara storyline?

Well, I can't bring myself to play a Shep that cheats on Liara - not only is she by far my favorite, I'm just outright not interested in any of the rest. I mean, if Liara didn't exist, all the other characters were the same, I don't think I'd care about a romance, even. So especially when Liara exists as a comparison, I'm not interested.

However, that's not to say there aren't imperfections. The easiest place to think of is Illium and ME2. Shep/Liara had to deal with the large amount of time that had passed, and what Liara had been through - they didn't get to deal with that until LotSB, and even then Liara still couldn't come with Shepard and even more time and distance was placed between them. This isn't addressed until ME3, where they finally get to be there for eachother.

Well my first Shepard cheated on her with Tali because Tali was there for me when Liara wasn't but then I found out about the whole ordeal she went through to bring me back and Shepard realized Liara was always there for him even when he wasn't there for her. Basically my Shepard was very conflicted with his feelings between Tali and Liara but picked Liara in the end. My second playthrough was loyal to Liara through and through and it was totally worth it

Nora Shepard is not entirely whom everything thinks she is.  Therefore, she has to struggle with an identity crisis between what she wants and what the Shepard everyone knows wants.

Unfortunately, trying to be both Nora and 'Nora' strained their relationship immensely during ME2.  Thankfully, after the whole ordeal with Arrival, she made a choice to not let what others' expectation determine who she was going to be.

I dont invite kelly into my chambers so i dont know how that one plays out, but my ren shep did flirt and have dinner with kelly...and all that happened was i met her on the citedal, she gave me my fish, i forced her to change her name, and...auto dialogue convos afer that.  think she actually throws in a war asset or two as well.  Liara didn't seem to care

Your lucky you had until Rannoch to decide. I had to make a choice at nearly the beginning of ME3.

Fair enough, just don't wanna go all the way through ME2 and 3 to end up with the unfaithful version of the dialogue (which granted is are very subtle changes, but that "I love you" at the end matters to my headcanon lol).

No i did one playthrough where i invited Kelly to my cabin for dinner and such, and she didn't have any affect on Liara's romance

Especially these fanfics: ME: Consequence, The Shepherdess and the Questing Beast, A Thessian's Whisper , After, Nobody Messes With My Girl

But I'm sure I miss a lot of good authors and stories too.

Sorry I only do Mshep/Liara but Lightspeaker is doing a progression through the games featuring Femshep/Liara that is exceptionally well done if you want to read those, you'll just have to hunt down the link on his sig though.

Oh yeah, I was pretty disappointed about not having a biotic catfight between Liara or Miranda  They seem like two feisty characters with a colorful past together during Redemption revolving Shepard.

Blackdeer is also a reaaaallly good one for femshep/liara fanfic.  and tinytut? was it? i think.  Im also sure theres more (im a little behind on my reading on that webpage)   I was working on one as well but ...ME3 kinda turned that one into an AU, and im not sure i wish to touch up on it anymore but its there if your curious.  All up on fanfiction.net.
