Lift orb seems to be a grenade like ability. I would imagine other classes will get it aswell.

If Liara is a squaddie towards the beginning of the game and from the demos that seems to the case, I'm willing to bet it's Cerberus that goes after Liara and not the reapers.

I agree, but I think it could go either way.  According to Vigil, the first thing the Reapers went for when they wiped out the Protheans was information, to figure out where everyone was.  I imagine the SB base would make an attractive target for them.

I guess it all comes down to what Cerberus' motivations are.

Thankfully, the location of the SB base is not public knowledge. Only Shepards crew and cerberus know where it is. The Reapers would have to analyze Cerberus' databases to learn where it is. While it seems Cerberus is actually working with the reapers, it seems it's not actually the case, their goals just seem similar at this point, for whatever reason. Therefore I doubt Cerberus will just give the information to the Reapers for which I'm thankful. Cerberus attacking SB base isn't nearly as bad as the Reapers attacking it.

You made my day with that bit of information. It's about time at least one LI would say: "You've had your chance and you chose not to take it." It was kind of obvious though. Lots of characters now will only be temp squaddies or have cameos. Romancing a character after a 1 hour cameo or 2 hours of being a temp squaddie would just be weird. Frankly I can see Liara not wanting to start a new romance in ME3, she certainly is a duty comes first person so starting a new romance during ME3 would not be high on her priority list....I think.

I can see Ash being the one to tell Shepard "Sorry, Skipper, you had your chance years go."  Or Miranda actually.

I'm expecting liara, Ashley, miranda and tali non romancable if you didn't in me, liara with feron, tali and kal reager (I think he is pretty cool and seems like a nice guy) and Miranda wil properly be to busy or still be the ice queen.

Consider Ash or Liara will be consider the Female Leads in ME3, I'm sure they're the ones you'll be re-romancing.

Anyone saying they're too busy, just look at LOTSB. Was too busy too much to even continue a romance? Especially when you consider that Shepard has been there friend for 3 years?

"You've had your chance and you chose not to take it." I doubt you'll really see this. If anything, all Mac means is that the option isn't even presented with some characters. And still, if they have a great friendship already with the Commander, enjoy his company, and once had feelings in the past, I doubt that they'd want to ****** away any chance over a 3 year grudge for not being taken on the love boat early.

To me the only reason why Liara even cared about rescuing Feron in the first place was because he gave himself up to allow Liara to escape with Shepard's body.  Until that point, she didn't even trust him.  Liara doesn't seem like one to just hop into bed with someone.  She never melded before she did with Shepard in ME.

I just don't see them being an item. 

Kal Reegar and Tali would make a good pair.  They seem to respect each other and Tali does seem to care about him.

Liara does get a little jealous actually during the third interrupt on the balcony.  She throws Shepard's ME2 LI back into Shepard's face.  She is willing to wait and see if they can get back together in the future.  She does want Shepard to be happy.  

I think at that point of her willing to wait is taking the asari long view on things and is willing to wait.  That does not mean she isn't jealous.

i REALLY need to do another playthrough where i romance liara.
ive only really done it once and i dont remember it all that well.

well thats not counting the couple times she ninja-manced me in ME1 lol

though, i know alot of people dislike her character development from ME1 to ME2. it was actually the opposite for me. i wasnt too big on liara before ME2, but after playing ME2 and especially LotSB it made me more curious about her

I've a few worries about her, now.
I've stayed faithful throughout my "main" playthrough, both one and two. Made sure not to even touch Chambers, despite people saying that it won't affect romancin'. Yet, I have a sinking feeling something will happen with Feron, regardless of her saying she's taken ((by my femshep after the *justshutupandkissme* clip.)) She's still young, as Asari go, that was made clear, maybe she doesn't know what she wants, not truely, or as most of done "made mistakes", about creating a new LI in ME2, yet smoothing it over with her in LOTSB, maybe she'll do the same.

Secondly; I think there's something she's holding back on.. Meaning, her rescuing Shepard and delivering the body to Cerberus. Knowing TiM, there's -always- strings attached, I just hope to god that it's nothing too sinister, or she doesn't die.
I'm interested though, whether it'll be a romeo and julliet take, an underlying sacrifice, her agreeing to be experimented, captured, taken by Cerb' at some point due to, which it is really.. her -want- for Shepard's body not to be given to the Collector's by the Yahg broker and him agreeing, with Miranda's pushing for Sheploo or femshep to be rebuilt.
Perhap's it wasn't his intention to bring him/her back, just yet.

After all, most know he's been indoctrinated now, yet I highly doubt those under him know it, just yet.. Since noone really know's him at all, bar those whom he was with in the book.
