This.  And i still havnt forgiven him for getting me killed in ME2.  Guys went from my ****list to my hitlist thanks to ME3 "speculative" endings.

I really liked Joker, he really felt like a good friend to my Shepard and you could see that he felt really guilty over Shepards death. Then he beamed Garrus and Liara to the normandy and destroyed the last chance for my colonist/sole survivor Shepard to have a happy, normal life. He also commited a war crime when he deserted the battle. Unless it's explained in some way in the DLC

Sorry that is simply nothing more than BS.

Having a factory which pumps out loyal super-soldiers, being bankrolled by a megalomaniac, and being headed by one of the greatest strategic minds humanity has ever seen will do wonders for your chances.

yeah but those super-soldiers are as dumb as thugs,  plus sure TIM is manipualtive but i wouldn't put him up there with Lee, Rommel, Hanibal, and Alexander as a great strategic mind.  Although in the comics he apparantly was pretty successful as a guerilla.

The Collectors took hundreds of thousands of people in just under 2 years without much trouble.

Those situations are not comparable.

Cerberus in ME3 have bases in mutiple systems, have fleets large enough that they apparently are quite a challenge for the Alliance to deal with. Can attack the Salarian homeworld with no real trouble. All created in the time span of 6 months?

One word: Logistics.

Also please remember that they lost alot of their resources in the book Retribution. Which makes all these events even more implausible and contrived.

The only thing I can buy was the commando army they had.

I can buy the commando's because that was what Cerberus was originally portrayed as,  but as for the multiple bases and them being bankrupt, you can see that BW threw out the SB dossiers in Invasion which takes place after ME2 and LOTSB,  where Cerberus basically launches a all out assault on Omega and tries to retake the remains of the Collector base,  I'm pretty sure that this is also where most of their reaper tech comes from.

Who says it was all done in 6 months? They might've been bigger than what was let on early in the series, just cause they didn't flash their muscles doesn't mean they didn't have any. Unless it's stated somewhere..I really have no idea of their Origin.

LotSB directly tells you they aren't that big. You find out there that TIM/Cerberus are broke and exhausted. So yes, he goes from almost completely tapped out, to gigantic galaxy threatening super power, in the span of 6 months. That's absurd, single rich guys help and ability to indoctrinate people or not.

Especially since, as you can see in ME3, for what he gains from the Reaper tech, he also *loses*, because lots of Cerberus people start breaking away from Cerberus and abandoning him and the group.

This and if you read the other companion/canon material (comics novels etc...) you find that they were severely compromised by the actions of David Anderson and Kahlee Sanders in exposing Cerberus' operations (third novel).  and then you find that they apparently have a fleet the size of one of the Alliances ready to do their bidding (Invasion)  it makes no sense.

@Aristobulus:  I agree with your prior ending post also i just don't want to make this longer than it has to be

@RubyNorman I'm still at work but expect something on your story by midnight EST when I'll have had time to read it

God this didn't have anything to do with Liara really.  So when do you guys think Liara installed those little cameras to watch Shep.  Also there was some talk of Portal/Shep/Liara a few pages back so i thought that this was appropriate

Hey all :)

I've been half-skimming over this thread the last few weeks (holy cow, over 1300 pages!) and was kind of surprised to see links to my ME fanfic series Dark Energy listed. So...enormously huge blushings, and thank you for the props.

I'll be over in the corner turning red now...

The only one being aggressive is you. I merely made a couple statements, oh and corrected the misuse of the term Sith.
And I assure you, I have not gone "bananas" over anything either of you have said. Oh, and I am not a "dude", mmmmkay?  So, seriousely, you chill out, okay?  No?  I didn't think so. Ah well.

Ok first: I don't give a crap if you are a dude or not. Second: don't try to spin this crap, I haven't been  aggressive untill now, I asked you before if you could tell me what was offensive or aggressive with my statements before but you ignored my request, You have acted like an **** against me and the other guy/girl and I have had enough

ORLY? Well, I guess you told me! Let me go into this corner over here and cry my eyes out!
No, I haven't acted like what ever filtered terms you used. I just suggested you go play the game you boasted was better than ME3 (in successive posts), and perhaps use that developers forum. I didn't explain it to you because I am not here to teach you how to get along with people or how to keep your foot out of your own mouth, I have already completed my parental duties for 3 children, I don't need a 4th who seems to not be able to control his (you are a male yes?) temper.

So as I calmly respond to your raging aggressive tantrum, I'll just suggest that you calm down and remember this is just a forum full of people with opinions, not always in agreement. So you chill, mmmmkay?
No? Awwww, ah well.

@Chrillze Sunnie is very opinionated but I've yet to see her being confrontational and aggressive, which is exactly what you're being right now. You have issues? Then PM her and have an adult conversation. Don't start something in this thread.

Well, that would all depend on who you ask about that... Everyone I've called out for anything might disagree wit that! /uploads_user/1070000/1069890/28011.gif
Yes, I am opinionated, sometimes to a fault, but I own my opinions and have no problems admitting when my opinion is misplaced. But I will always tell it like I see it. /shrug

Hey, don't want to add to any hurt feelings but Sunnie your half right,  the red markings follow the tattoos common among the Zabrak, but the larger grey ones follow the lines of traditional sith tattoos which although similar to Zabark ones were common among many ancient Sith Lords regardless of whether they were True Sith (the race not the dark side sect)  or another species.

Sorry just wanted to make sure you had the correct info. I don't intend to add to any arguments

edit:  and same as Maro I've never seen Sunnie act in a way that was agressive without provocation from Trolls/Hate slingers

Sunnie22 I still fail to see how my past jokes about scale itch or the witcher 2 was aggressive and offensive. If you really are a grown up that have raised 3 children(which I doubt you are) I really think you should grow up yourself instead off picking fights with people on a forum for a video game.

All right personal attacks.  Drop it chrllze - this just became rage fueled stupidity, she wasn't picking a fight - thats whats your doing.  Go take a walk or take it to PM's.  This isn't worth the drama your trying to ****-kick around.  Sunnie was voicing an opion like an adult - and your posts (when read by someone unfamiliar with your previous posts) could be considered troll like behaviour.  However - sunnie has always been as maro has all ready stated opinionated - and at most times rather intellectual and mature about (which I respect) ... at any rate...let it go and lets get this forum back on topic.

EDit: CRAP whats with these ****ty tops.  "ang on finding a blue patch to make this all better!

Also: Melaradark..  Love your writing(s).  Keep it up :D

While historically thats true, you don't see ancient Sith markings like that in any media that in the present timeline. Palpatine certainly does not, Dooku, does not, Greivous does not (even though he could just paint anything on his plating). Anakin(Vader) doesn't. The only race that uses markings like that are the Zabrak, which is why I noted that.
