There was some mod to have her LotSB face texture in Mass Effect 1 but I can't find it anymore. Does anyone happen to have a link to it?

I don't know, I think Liara's looks *vastly* improved with LotSB and ME3. Her eyes, her skin texture, her overall stance and clothing - it's all a lot better. Basically, I think it looks like she lost a few years from ME1-ME3. Like, she actually looks oldest in ME1. Like, I think she looks like low-mid 20's in LotSB/ME3.
Actually in ME2 she doesnt look so good when i saw her on LOTSB i said WOW they made her way more hotter and they gave her the more "alien" look(her skin) in ME3 which was great

I loved her appearance in ME2, not LoTSB, although don't get me wrong, she looked beautiful in that, it's just that she seemed more... intimidating and powerful, especially when she threatens to flay that dude with her mind... Poor bastard. Ya, so I liked her more.
But... Dem eyes!

Well, yeah, I should clarify. I think the way she looked in her office in Illium is literally the worst she's ever looked. She looked so pale and sickly, and her eyes didn't have that shine. The only good thing about her appearance there is I liked the casual robe/dress she had on.
I really like that they made Asari/Liara more alien in ME3/LotSB by what they did with their skin, making it so high res you can see they are actually scaled is just - it does a lot to make them seem like aliens and not just blue women.

Sunnie's got it in her project files. (Link)

There's also one which puts her LotSB face on her vanilla ME2 scenes. (Link)

Yeah she looked a bit lackluster but didn't it fit nicely with the whole situation? Her being on the Shadow Broker hunt, going through all that grief with Shep's death and resurrection and not really knowing what happened to him/her after handing the body over to Cerberus?
The lack of shiny eyes and all....it kind of fit to the mood I imagine her being in at that moment!

I think the way she looked on Illium fit with the idea that she'd been working herself to the bone for two years going after the Shadow Broker, but yeah, between the facial texture and the absolutely wretched lighting, that was the worst she ever looked.

I suppose it does make sense that she'd look tired and worn out...considering she was tired and worn out. Still doesn't mean it was pleasant to see her like that or that it looked good or anything.
Edit - I mean, I don't think I ever said it didn't make sense, I just said she didn't look good.

Well yeah...I agree with that. She looked the worst in her short appearance scene in ME2. And it was certainly not great to see her so worn out and all. I'm with you here...fitting but not pleasant:(

Thankyou very much, thank you Sunnie too! Tho I'm not sure which of those files to download. Guess it's just ME1_SBLiara.zip if I want the pure LotSB look.TheMarshal wrote...

Going for another playthrough soon, so getting the mods ready.

Yeah, I was really shocked when I saw her on Illium for the first time, she looked so different.
But then came that great new look in LotSB.

Most people probably don't give her a chance, like I didn't. Maybe the would grow to at least respect her if they did, but they're the only ones that can decide to do that. For now, I'm happy taking Liara on every single assignment in ME1 and look forward to hearing all of her random dialogue with Garrus. Can't wait to experience the rest of the romance for myself, I'm nearly done with my second speed run on ME1 and soooo close to my final run. SQUEEEE!

Problem is, in their first impression, the Asari seem like a really shallow mary sue fanservice race, and Liara seems like a totally helpless damsel in distress. This is actually not true for either at all, but you don't know that unless you bother to talk to them more and learn more about them.

Well they talk about forced. I will admit she get more screen play in ME3, but what about the first two she was hardly the main squad m8 in ME1. Hell you could almost ignore her for the whole game. just gett her right at the end. and ME2 she wasnt even inn. Fine she got a really good DLC but hell that would probably have been her loyality mission anyway IF she was inn the game. And now they complain that she has plot armor????!!! WTF i would gladly thrown that away if she could have been a squad member in ME2. (even if that meant 10min less cut scenes here)Erenbe wrote...

Also, lots of these people have been hating Liara since ME1. It's an established tradition for them. They are very much set in their ways and do not want to change. When it comes to Liara, they close their minds. All they do is actively look for reasons to hate her and disregard anything positive she does.
That is an tiresome attitude though. I mean...come on. I don't like every character the same but I have to admit that I even liked Jacob in ME2...to some extent. (Well, he completely blew this when meeting him in ME3 but anyways....)
I think each and every character in the ME series has some likeable aspects to him or her. You don't have to love them but this hatred that some people show that is just lame. I would understand complete disregard but hate?
And the worst is that they have to broadcast it loudly in a way that is hurtful and offending to those who actually like that character. All that talk about Liara mind-raping and whatnot! Sheesh...don't talk to her if you want to avoid it...don't let her onto your squad. It is that easy! <_<
But what can you do. I think this is a good compromise that we, that are Liara fans get som payment in the 3 game
caus we havent been the luckyones before.
hell if i could chance out Tali inn ME2, sure hell i would
But i dont hate Tali and her fans for that reason (i like her to as a little sister)
but if they want to hate her, let them (no wonder there is war in the world i say)
Ohhh and where are my blue babies bioware!!!!???
