There's some diversity to the Asari - they have various skin tones just like humans do. And of course, all the different facial markings. And things like how Aethyta seems to have krogan-like scales.

Humans being diverse in Mass Effect is just something that's supposed to be accepted, even though Humanity was reduced to near extinction during the last ice age and actually has one of the most shallow gene pools of any species on the planet.

So how fracking inbred are these aliens if we look super diverse by comparison?

waht is the species most large in the Galaxy ?

counting the Homeworld and the colonies .

The asari would be my guess. Though from what we see in the game it would be humans. We see way more humans around than any other species.

The asari are the most widespread species sure the humans have probably the largest homeworld population
but we see asari colonies with 1 billion, 2,5 billion and we only see a handful of their colonies they had thousands of years to colonize planets

It's not about physical diversity. Mordin mentions this. Humans have more varied personalities. That is likely one of the reasons the Reapers are interested in the humans. I imagine diverse personalities help make a stronger Reaper mind. Then there is the genetic mallability as mentioned by Harbinger. He also mentions why the other species are deemed unsuitable Sovereign-class Reaper material. (I imagine the Reapers were building something more than an ordinary Reaper dreadnaught with the humans though.)

Anyway, this is off-topic, so back to Liara!

Is it supposed to be lore that makes us diverse?  Or is it just an explanation for why there are so few face models for asari, turians, batarians, krogan, salarians, hanar, etc. etc. etc.?

i'm sure, human is more different about other species because she is vary young, probably all species in the Galaxy was have in the past more difference about among their similar,

Asari have dialects, like human, in ME the Earth have only one Government the Allience, so its possible have more equality to the individuals in the future, like the most species in ME.

To be fair, he at least just linked it, and didn't actually image tag it, right? And put an appropriate warning before linking it?

Honestly asking. I wasn't here to see his post before he edited it.

Was the whole stuff about the Protheans in the Athema Temple to your liking?.

Not particularly, it worked great as a plot device/dark revelation but i am not a fan of it overall.
I generally like the asari and that revelation makes it seems like they can't do anything on their own and that it was only through Prothean intervention that they were able to accomplish anything at all.

I actually don't really like the way that the Protheans are depicted as having ochestrated so much in ME3. Javiks attitude and descriptions of his people didn't really help the matter.

I know that I am exaggerating and I believe that the asari was did figure out most things for themselves they were simply given some tools, they still had to use them for themselves. But it still leaves a somewhat bitter taste for me.

Am I the only one that thought Thessia was alright? It was certainly too short, but I like what they did include.

*snip*

I think most of our problems with it was that Thessia was too short its kinda a let down after Rannoch and Tuchanka to just have one mission and kaput your done.   the mission in itself was pretty well crafted and i liked it

@moreeman06, but the Priority Thessia have only one place, the Temple, on Tuchanka and Rannock its present 4 place and 4 more mission.

I really need watch more place on Thessia, i really like the idea to visit the native city of Liara,

why put Thessia only in ME3 and only in one little maps :crying:

that's what i'm saying, that it was too short compared to the others.  the mission in itself was fine i thought though with the exception of plot armor leng and the unkillable gunship

I've been at this so many times before, so I won't really get into it again, but Priority: Thessia is just a prime example of BioWare not having the time or money to create what they should have.

Well in Rannoch and Tuchanka you main target is to go and solve the most dire problems of the galactic politics
but in Thessia you just visit for the reapers remember you dont even visit Palaven  (although the mission on the moon  is nice) so of course i would have like to spent more time in Thessia but what else you should have done there?

If BioWare had the time and the resources they needed the entire narrative of ME3 would have looked drasticly different, so I have no doubt we would have seen MUCH more of both Palaven and Thessia... if things would have gone like they should have.

you on the moon of Palaven talk to the Primarch, but yuo go on Thessia only for the Temple, for the VI Prothean, why not go on Thessia also for talk whit the Matriach Council, or for take from any university more information about the history fo Asari and Protean.

Easy. Have some missions before the Reapers arrive, have it be building up to that final mission where Thessia is lost. It can be about trying to help Thessia prepare or find out more about something related to the Asari, which builds up to the beacon reveal and everything.

Then maybe you even have a choice - help the Asari hide the beacon, or reveal it to the public.

The Fall of Thessia would have more impact if Shepard had put in more effort to prevent it.
