God I love this one. This sums up perfectly how I feel about my renegade Shep and Liara although my shep is male. I seriously don't understand why there is so much hate about Renegade Shepards. I understand that you can make your Shepard most sadistic bastard in the universe, but that is optional, you never have to go that far. If you play full paragon you get pretty much as stupid Shepard that way too. Save everyone, don't think about long term effects. I once played full paragon and damnit I hate that Shepard as much as I hate those who play as anti-alien Shepards.TheMarshal wrote...

EDIT2: What is the outcome on renegade dialogue on flatterer scene and telling Liara to meet her dad?

In the scene where you tell her to talk to her dad the renegade goes something like this S: "She is your dad!" L: "I know" S renegade response: "I can never suprise you with something"H4nniba11 wrote...

The flattere scene I don't know. I never chose the renegade there. That would be interesting to know....so someone else has an answer to that?

I recall that in the flatter scene Shepard says something like "Were still in the fight.." and Liara replies "I know. It's just difficult seeing you get shot at out there."
Renegade has some of the better romance dialouge.

I would love to see a different take on this. If I ever got my present fics in order, I'd probably try one on this subject. Speaking of the comic, do you think you could find it? I'd love to see it, if you remember the tags for it.
Here it is:

I am pretty sure it has been seen before. But continue through. I liked it and was a very entertaining comic. I am just waiting to find a comic/fanfic that makes you feel like Hannah was meant to be there.
I would also like to see the little blue children breaking their grandmothers back

Javik on Thessia or in another Priority Mission have the same voice in From Ashes Mission or its different ?
because in Italian the voice change, in the Normandy and in another dialogue have one voice, in mission like Thessia have another vocie.
p.s
the dialogue whit Javik and Liara on Thessia its good
and i like the first part of mission, Javik take the Asari in the first olace and preparing to read his mind,
this Asari have ****hting in the War of Citadel abord of the Destiny Ascension.

As a side note, Javik's accent is more African than Jamacan as some have erroneously thought. As you were.

Ok, question, how do you get Renegade voice options in a Liara romance without turning her down? Because I was always under the impressions that Renegade options more or less ruined the relationship.

I have not, nor do I plan on doing a Renegade playthrough, but from what I understand there are certain paragon options you have to select in order to progress the romance, ala the conversation on the Citadel that locks you in. If you choose the Renegade option then you stay just friends, Paragon locks you into the romance. You should be able to tell if the Renegade option is going to break it off though, or you could just save before every converstation and see how it plays out.

Yeah, you pretty much summed the situation up nicely. I just wanted my Shep to be happy, and Liara was it. I'll admit it, from an impartial viewpoint, I probably went with Liara due to lack of choice/options. However, even if they spacemagically introduced dozens of new LIs for her overnight, I can't picture my Shepard with anyone else.
My brother (also a ME fan) was confused with my choice (I was an outspoken Kaidan fangirl) but I just had to show him one random scene with FemShep and Liara (it wasn't even a romantic specific scene - it was the time capsule) and he said something like "wow, yeah, they really go well together."
So a pairing that may be seen as forced, encouraged or just a last-ditch option due to writer oversight has turned into one of my favorite fiction couples. Blue witchcraft, I tell you.

If you think Shepard is being irresponsible, I think you are mistaking your own irresponsibility in jumping into something you feel is too soon or fast, since your Shepard is nothing more than an extension of yourself, that you control and decide whether to enter that relationship or not.TMA LIVE wrote...
I do think Shepard is being a bit irresponsible, since he's hitting the sack with someone he barely knows. Same with Liara. And because of the experience Liara had from killing her mother, or almost starving to death, or being a fish out of water on the Normandy, it might not be right time to start a romance with her. Especially since you're her first, and a lot of her feelings might be just because of the situation.
But considering the situation, I feel a lot of the romances comes from respect and trust. Maybe not love yet, but a what the hell, I trust you kind of thing. And with the mindmelds, it's possible they gained an inner attraction and connection. Maybe it's destiny. They don't know why they like each other. But they do. So what the hell.
Don't blame Shepard for what you make them do.
Hey, I'm just saying maybe both Liara and Shepard might be being irresponsible in ME1.
I talked to a friend about romancing Liara, and his response was that he didn't because, "I felt guilty choosing the obviously inexperienced and easy blue alien woman."

I assume the final "while I haven't always agreed, I always respected" -line is if Shepard is a renegade. If so, what's the line for Shepard as a paragon?
nvm - simple youtube search found it. I'm a turkey.

No. After Mars, tell her you still love her and after Priority:Citadel II, tell her you want more then friendship.
And of course, don't send her away in the romance conclusion.
If you want to be 100% save, use Quicksave before every dialogue.

That's like the entirety of what A Good Night is about. How do you reconcile your own personal feelings for someone when they're under your command? I let my Shepard get away with it because it's her. And, you know, true love.

If you want to get into the technical regulations side of things Shepard isn't doing anything technically wrong since Liara is a civilian and not part of the Alliance Military. Though in the real military we don't let civilians on a warship just because they want to be there or use them in a fire team because we think they'd probably be useful. So irresponsibility is introduced pretty early on and Shepard's romantic engagement with a civilian on the Normandy is probably the more responsible thing compared to handing said civilian a firearm and putting her in a combat unit.
You usually need months of intense training before someone does that.
